Who do you think is the better player? I personally think Nabi is better, as both are decent with the bat and can hit out once in a while. But Nabi plays more maturely imo.

Also Nabi bowls really well and is much more threatening.

Nabi is one of the most underrated All rounders in the World Cricket. To me he is the MVP of Afghan team.

Nabi has to perform at this level for a couple more years to be better than Hafeez. Hafeez was a very threatening bowler before his chucking. Hafeez is also very good batsman, but he underachieved.

i dont think its even a comparison.

Nabi averages 27 with the bat with 1 century while Hafeez averages 33 with the bat with 11 centuries.

Nabi is a decent bowler but then nothing special with the average of 32 while Hafeez's average in bowling has deteriorated in the last few years but still he maintains a good economy of 4.18 in his overall career which is much longer and with much more matches than Nabi.

Not to forget Nabi's stats are also inflated just like Rashid Khan by playing against associate teams most of their careers. Nabi isnt getting any younger too as he is officially 34 years of age.

Mohammad Hafeez
He remained NO.1 All-rounder No.1 Bowler and In top 20 Batsman ranking for sometime
Apart from WC His Performance At 4-5 is Good

The gap between Mo Hafeez & Mo Nabi at least twice wider than the gap between PAK Team and AFG team - that too compared to Test cricket (Not in LO, where Afghans are better side and gap is narrower).

Being the not so greatest admirer:( of MoHa, still I'll say the comparison is insulting to him, almost blasphemous. Guy has 23 (?) International Hundreds and he has 10 Test Hundreds. Yes, with a clean action, Nabi is a better spinner than Hafeez, but as over all player …. Hafeez prolonged his career to become public enemy, but for 10-12 years, he was the MVP of PCT in LO cricket on genuine merit - something Nabi won't ever be even for one series. And, the comparison as Test player is beyond scope.

These days AFG's stock is very high in PP, because their cricket is effective in T20s, a trait that's highly valued in PAK cricket circle, so, Nabi made a mark here, otherwise...…. But, no disrespect intended - Nabi is a very good T20 player, a decent ODI player as well and one of the best in AFG cricket history - he has his own place in the game.

I completely agree. I'm a great fan of test cricket though for Pakistan. I actually think Hafeez is much better but my younger brother is for stranger reason big AFG fan and he always insists that Nabi is better. So I tried going with his opinion on here and see what you guys said! To be honest I thought the crazy minds on PP would say Nabi is better. Ad you guys think Hafeez is better.

For the record, Hafeez is obviously better but nothing will convince my brother....

Hafeez should be compared with Viv, Lara and Sobers - he oozes the same kind of flamboyance and swagger when at the crease and makes batting against top quality bowlers look easy, a hallmark of the true greats.

Hafeez is obviously a much better batsman and overall player. But I think Nabi is the better bowler.

I think it is appropriate that hafeez should be compared with leading players in second tier teams

I think Hafeez is much better. Hafeez is definitely superior with the bat and is a much better fielder.

Bowling-wise, they are pretty even.
