Looks like he is the most ready prospect from the U19 trio of this batch, got the pace ,bounce and can swing it both ways plus can seam it away from the batsmen and can also bowl late in swinging Yorkers like Shaheen Shah.

Sarfraz Ahmed in an interview said that he will be in the national team in couple of years which is indeed a very bold claim.

The only weakness I am seeing in him is that he is not very consistent with his line and length and his fuller length deliveries when not swinging are very much hittable as he doesn’t get the zip off the surface from his fuller length deliveries but his short of good length and short pitch deliveries really zip off the surface at a good pace.

I personally think he bowls around 133-142k range which is very good for a 18 year old and in couple of years he can definitely increase his pace by 5ks and can get control over his line and length then definitely he can be a very good prospect for us in all formats of the game.

Your opinion?

Gives away a lot of runs.
Has to work on that aspect

Gets a bit wayward but a very dangerous new ball bowler with his angles and also has a top bouncer.
Impressive player. Genuine wicket-tacker.

He has good mechanics and a great action. Good alignment to move it both ways. I think you are over stating his speed. He is probably 128-133.

I think he is a natural 83mph bowler. That is all good if he swings the ball into the right handers, however if he cant or the ball doesnt swing,he will get smashed. Let's hope he keeps developing

83mph bowlers doesn't get high praise from someone like Sarfaraz who didn't even praise M.Hasnain when he bowled 150kph. Nor 83mph bowlers can bounce out an IPL batters on a slow pitch.

But thats what he is. He is a natural 83mph. You can be 83mph and surprise people with pace off the pitch

2024 batch Amir Hasan was bowling at 135k (top speed) and was tonked all over the place by every batter even from weak teams and no body praised him and said he will get in to the national team with that pace.

It's weird if you think Seyam is slower than him.

They are around the same pace. Amir had lots of potential and I dont think his race is run if gets a chance at the FC level.

Brother there is no way that they both ball at same pace , Seyam is more like Ubaid in terms of pace.
I will take your wisdom over mine. To me they were pretty much the same. Let's hope you are right and I am wrong because if you and Sarfi are right, we have a real talent on hand for PK

In my opinion, given his pace, skill set and clear potential, he should already be playing in the PSL so he can be closely observed, tested against top-level batters, and fast-tracked for higher honours.
