shame on mqm for abandoning their guy like a tissue paper. also hopefully the woman stays safe now that she has come into the open. my only issue is that for 15+ yrs the guy (Saulat mirza) didn't have an epiphany and was cooperating with mqm at every level and only thought of exposing them once his hanging was imminent.

majority of them are in south africa, brazil etc.

say what you will mqm generally ensures that its ppl are not caught. they get them asylum or immmigraton into different countries across the world. saulat mirza disobeyed the command of not going back to Pakistan which is why he got caught. plans were set for him to live a life of exile with his wife in south africa or thailand. but he got emotional upon hearing abt his mothers cancer and rushed home and got caught as a result

which is why i dont have a lot of sympathy for him either. forget the fact that he was loyal to mqm till when things were going swimmingly but he was loyal to them for almost 15 yrs in jail too and only did this when the hanging was imminent (less than 24 hrs away.)

recently a report was published in a foreign reputable newspaper that the court proceedings in the military courts are unfair to the defendent and is not allowed to properly defend.

a judge wrote about saulat mirza's conviction didnt satisfy legal rules as he was not allowed to defend (as happens in military anti terror courts)

same court was used to convict nawaz sharif for plane hijacking, what happened next is all history.

for example MQM workers were also convicted in hakeem saeed's murder later the police man involved in investigation gathered evidences that they were infact not involved and got freed from high court through appeal.
