I have been trying to reason with you for a long time now, but you are so stubborn :) For a billionth time, Pakistan always comes first for me and I only care about players who are helping us win games at the highest level.
I have been watching cricket since 1991 and Rizwan was not even born at that time, lol

I haven't watched much of maqsood ever but watching him play post 50 i am convinced he should be nowhere near the pak side

As far as his contribution is concerned he's done his bit in terms of the cause, there is no "I" in team. It's a collective effort as oppose to individual, you can't win them all and if he's doing his bit then where is everyone else?

You ain't being fair my friend. I'm not a fan of his (I repeat) but i certainly respect what he's done for the team and the 110% effort he puts in when out there.
 
Lahore have wrestled back the momentum brilliantly. Multan don't have much else once Rizwan and Maqsood are out.
 
In any case, 160 should be enough to trump the shaky LQ middle order

People still think Rauf is a strike bowler? He is the kind of bowler who would increase the strike rate of batsmen
 
Rauf is too raw, he should be nowhere near to PCT. Brainless over rated bowler. I am not sure why he is getting so much hype.
 
Rauf is a terrible bowler and should go back to his tape ball tournaments. Where is [MENTION=131701]Mamoon[/MENTION] these days?

Oh calm down people, its cricket! Bowlers go for 20+ all the time.
 
Lahore looked in a decent position a few overs ago and suddenly the momentum gas shifted towards MS big time.
 
Dahani has been a wicket taker for MS, takes Fakhar's wicket straight away. Economy can improve though but, the amount of wickets he has been taking I dont think MS will have much issues.
 
Typical Sohail Akhtar hiding away from responsibility. Pretty much the spare guy at a wedding.
 
Dhano has a knack of taking wickets everytime he has the ball in his hands.
 
What an over from Dahani, 3 runs of it and important wicket of Fakhar.

LQ needs a partnership here

One emerging player is a must so one of Daniyal, Maaz Khan or Zaid Alam had to be in the 11. So they could have brought in Dilbar if they could have found a spot for Zaid in the batting.
 
If LQ doesnt make it to the play offs than this surely has to be the last season of Sohail Akhtar as captain as well as a player. Same can be said about Aqib but, doubt he is going anywhere considering the number of programs he has been running for LQ.

The overall selection of Lahore squad is questionable. You've got the king of nothing Sohail Akhtar and guys like Agha who are either being wasted or again just average for me. Heck Fawad Alam would've done better and he's not even a t20 player.

Agreed. Mind boggling how Sohail Akhtar is also captaining the side, even if he is some tactical genius which he clearly isnt he still doesnt deserve a sure short position in the team. He couldnt even get in the Northern's white ball XI for the last season.

It's that Aqib Javed who needs a slap persisting with rubbish players like that joker Salman Butt for a season and then this clown Sohail. I'm pleased for Sohail when he does well but he's always stiff on the crease and sets himself up for the lbw.

Laugh at me all you want but i'd rather have Fawad as captain or even Nuaman Ali they will at least show some urgency in the field. Sohail deserves to be stripped of the captaincy as well as a place in the team he does nothing, even if he scores a 50 today it will be in a lost cause today.

I mean you couldn't give Agha 1 over??? He bowls at well, where is your head?

Yes his release is similar to bhuvneshwar. He never bowls defensively that's what i love about him.

I think i'm sold on him to heck with this kid getting smacked, it's his persistence to never give up and habit of picking up wickets.

However, if the WC was being played in SA or Aus i'd opt for Rauf despite the poor form. I asked a guy the question whether Rauf would flourish on these conditions and he's just answered everyone's question that he can't. Dhani has shown he can bowl on these conditions so for me he makes the final XI, he could spring a surprise package to others.
