22/0 off 3.

Solid start for Multan as expected.

looks like both shaan and rizwan have learnt their lesson from the last game, taking a lot more calculated risks

Flying!

How good is Mohammad Rizwan best cricketer in Pakistan at the moment!

Beyond daft to not open with Naseem after the last game . . Commentators rightly castigating Sarfaraz

Sarfraz is an absolute clown for not opening with Naseem after his performance with the new ball the other day.
This is why young cricketers have a hard time developing in Pak.

Rizwan should have taken a day off! He is playing way too much cricket and I am afraid that he might burn out before the start of next T20 World Cup. Another 50 what a player

Unbeaten 50s for both batters. Superb.

Irfan to Masood, out Lbw!! 134.3kph, full and on the stumps, Masood misses the flick and Irfan goes up for an lbw appeal. Turned down by umpire Aleem Dar and Quetta challenge the call. The batter had shuffled and was slightly off-balance when he tried to flick. Clearly no bat. Over to ball-tracking and it's three reds! Finally, the Gladiators have a breakthrough. But, plenty of hitters to come.. Masood lbw b Irfan 57(38) [4s-6 6s-1]

Rilee Rossouw *0
Mohammad Rizwan 59

Rossouw looks fitter every match he plays. May be an international comeback around the corner with the end of Kolpak in the UK.

Why is Rossouw not laying for South Africa anymore? he is good enough player to be in loop.

I wouldn't wanna play under Sarfraz's captaincy. A mediocre player with zero appreciation or encouragement for his bowlers or fielders.

Wow. Rizwan is 73 off 49 on a track where Russouw made 71 off 20

This is a phainty. Maybe this is the only way that will make QG management change their ways and dump the useless baggage.

So Rizwan batted half the innings and scored 1/3 of the runs

Let’s see how Jason Roy approaches this

Umm . . interesting comment there . . You think if it wasn't for Rizwan's innings (which btw has also come at a 150+ S/R), Riley would have made 71 of 20? Thats what roles are . . if everyone is scoring 71 of 20, you'd have 350 scored in T20s . . There's a reason why this is about as high a score as you can get in a T20.

So the guy basically depends on extraordinary contributions of certain players?

If Rizwan and Masood got out early, Than Rossow will not have license to play the way he did, Different player have different roles.

Cant argue with a guy who loves an actor who has almost 50+ flops in his career.
I mean i can imagine your taste why you love guys like sharjeel and not consistent performer like rizwan.

See the Wes indies team, They are struggling to find player like Rizwan who can keep one end so other can play around him freely,

So the guy basically depends on extraordinary contributions of certain players?

That's not how it works. He has won games on his own as well . . but everyone plays a role . . Yes, he is not going to be a match winner like a Russow or Maxwell or Pandya by himself . . but without his role (that he has been playing to perfection in the last 12 14 months), match winners like those guys wouldn't have a platform to be able to play those knocks . . yes, he might go wrong as well on some days (like the last match), but he's delivering more times than not . . He's a vital cog in the wheel . . and you need all parts to deliver the perfect batting performance (which today was by MS)

Sarfaraz shouldn’t come in Next

Let Umar Akmal and Iftikhar have a go

A score of 246 doesn’t allow players to think about settling in first and then launching.

Who is the Root that was demanding UA at the top of the order?

So target 120 in 10 with 8 wickets in hand

And you have a great chance of knocking this score off

Roy and U Akmal.

Crucial partnership this.

Quetta Gladiators need 217 runs to win.

Target 246 in 20 overs

I doubt Misbah’s ODI side would chase this in 50 overs

Please smash this joker Dahani for another 2 sixes in this over Umar!

ifti and umar can hit a long ball, but the problem is they need to be doing it for 10/15 overs dont think they have that in them

UA not need to carry away, Need to concentrate for a long period.

more of this from umar and he could be back in contention for pak middle order, looks a better option than asif ali and the like
