If this is not what you want then send your child to a different school or even better, an Islamic school. Many indians feel exactly the same way as these protesters and are not happy with their kids being taught this stuff either, but they prefer to keep a low profile and not protest or create a scene.
These protesters are just attention seekers, theres less than 100 of them and the vast majority of pakistanis share the same views as their indian counterparts and also just keep a low profile to avoid any trouble.
But like i said these potesters, few in number, were making alot of noise because they are attention seekers, even though any fool could of told them that they could never succeed in their demands.

All the infanticide happens in rural villages that are still way backwards compared to 1st tier and 2nd tier cities and even 3rd tier towns.

There are more men than women in India. So having a girl is valuable in India, atleast in Southen States. You have a daugther, she has competition and chances are she is going to choose the better qualified one. In the North, I'm not sure, but by the the looks of it(again im just making an assumption) things are still the way it is. Also you should take in mind that when you say "India" you are talking about 1/5th of the world' population.

I'm talking about posters here on the forum who for the most part are young. Obviously the older Indian adults are still backwards as hell. But I expect much better from the younger generation. I just gave you the definition of perspective on the progression. Pakistan is heading on the right path but the path may not be progressive for you and Indians as nobody wants the worlds that is without women.

So, for India Pakistan might be backward nation for not following the progressive style of India and its mindset.

But for Pakistan and their perspective of progress is the right ways. The concept of family is important which is the only reason you, me and the entire worlds exist.

As far as I'm aware, the protests are just being banned from being right outside the school? I can understand that being intimidating to the schoolkids and some teachers. I'm sure they can protest x metres away from the school, so I don't think there's an issue.

Being told that there are families with 2 mothers or 2 fathers is far less damaging than being told that you'll burn in hell if you don't pray 5 times a day, I would think.
