"In my book I'm a Lahori and a Lahoriite" Wasim Akram

"My city my country I can do whatever I want" Wasim Akram

what was he stopped from doing in Lahore?

He didn't mean it in this context, he was talking about how playing in Pakistan, and it doesn't matter if its Lahori or Lahoriite, he doesn't mind being referred to as both.

He said "In my book I'm a Lahori and not a Lahoriite"

He was referring to some people referring to residents of Lahore as Lahoriites while the correct term is Lahori

Wasim was the player of the 90s for me. Best AR cricketer of his era. He is huge in BD. We love Wasim.

His popularity spans countries. A lot of Indians (including me) have fond feelings for him too.

No he can not do whatever he wants. Has to follow the so called law.
