Yaad rahe kiss khadim ka iss kamyabi may chota sa role hai!

But when someone asks him about squad selection, he says it's not his domain.

When someone asks him about horrible domestic pitches, it's not his domain.

Surely if he can take credit for the positives, the failings can also be acknowledged and worked on?

After Sarfaraz batted up the order in one of the T20Is, he even stated that it was due to his advice!

It is good to take credit and there is no harm in it but to act as if u know nothing during negatives is a sign of cowardness
U have to accept that u have got the worst domestic structure

This guy is a joke because he's so quick to take credit for high profile successes yet when it comes to domestic cricket, he deflects responsibility.

That's easy to do because there's hardly any eyeballs on domestic cricket.

Sethi not alone.....

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th Jan, 2018 ):Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi Sunday felicitated Pakistan cricket team, captain Sarfraz Ahmed and the management over a T20 series triumph in New Zealand.

Should tell one about the state of Pakistani politics when the PM of the nation has time to talk about a meaningless t20i series win. Surely there are more important matters to talk about in Pakistan.

And here comes....

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th Jan, 2018 ):Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has congratulated the Pakistan cricket team for winning T20 series against New Zealand. He also congratulated the national cricket team for getting first position in the ICC ranking for the T20 format.

He extended his greetings to captain Sarfraz Ahmed and other players, and said the Pakistani cricket players displayed excellent skills and achieved a distinguished place in the T20 format. He hoped that the winning spree of Pakistani cricket team would continue in future as well. APP/mnb/rsd

Don't be surprised if Sethi tries to claim that he was the man behind Feferer winning the Australian Open.

I have seen Sethi give interviews after the team has lost as well so this is a non-issue.

I feel a bit of objectivity is required here. The PM is not merely congratulating the team on winning the series, but rather he is congratulating them on securing the number 1 spot in the world and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that.

Try to separate your hate for the person and then maybe you can see that his response is not only harmless but positive.

Perfect media man - making hay when sun is shining.

He's a pathetic guy and should never have been made pcb chairman. He doesn't even deserve to be a club chairman.

It's fine to take some credit but you also have to acknowledge your mistakes and learn from them and with this mindset from Sethi I don't think they'll be doing that.

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th Jan, 2018 ):Ms Marriyum Aurangzeb, Minister of state for Information, Broadcasting, National History and Literary Heritage, has felicitated the Pakistan cricket team for its astounding victory in the T-20 series against New Zealand and clinching number one position in the ICC ranking.

The minister of state, in a message issued here Sunday, said that it was a proud moment for the entire nation, which deserved congratulation for this well-deserved triumph.

She said the Pakistani team had raised the Pakistan flag with green crescent to dizzying heights in the entire world, which reflected the peaceful and stable face of Pakistan.

The minister said that as a consequence of the bold decisions and steps taken by the incumbent government and unequal sacrifices of the armed forces, law enforcing agencies and police, peace had returned to the country, paving the way for revival of sports activities in the playing fields around the country.

The minister of state said a shining, determined and developing Pakistan would soon emerge before the comity of nations.

I dont hate him. I dont even know much about him.

Have you seen PM of any other country congratulating his national team in securing number 1 rank in t20s? T20 rankings are insignificant. If it were tests, it would have been justified. Even if it was a t20 wc win, it was fine.

No tweets yet? morning office must have started in PAK ..............

But he did say "chota sa role" in victory.

It's a "chota sa role" in defeat also, not worth mentioning. :))

Chairman of PCB using word enemy....
There are many words that could have been used... why Enemy??

Poor choice of words by Sethi, and not the last time either.

Chairman of PCB using enemy word and then asking BCCI to fulfill MOU. It doesn't sound correct.😐

"Old enemy" really and he is bowing down to the BCCI every second day to play a Bilateral Series with Pakistan.

I think, comments were fine - team indeed made SF from 1st game defeat. Enemy indeed, but could have used words like “rival”.

Only part I am interested is the 2020 commitment - what is he going to do?

Using the word enemy to change his pro-indian image won't help much.

He has been devastating for our cricket and it will reflect on our future also. Immediate issues that are more important like scheduling and more odis should be at the forefront. He only tweets when Pakistan team wins or blabbing about PSL and then goes silent for everything else.

When was the last time anyone gave him credit? Guy has to take it on himself. Hardly 5% of the media ever praised him for something good related to the team.

He's only been praised for the PSL as far as I've seen.

Its only when the team loses does everyone bash the system from Sethi to domestic cricket, but only praise the team when things are going great.

what else he has done which can be praised.

Well Mickey Arthur proved to be a great coach. He was selected and then approved by Sethi.

Inzamam proved to be a decent chief selector.

Azhar Mahmood proved to be an impressive choice for bowling coach

Convincing ICC to send a world XI back to Pak.

Convincing Srilankan team to come visit us for the third t20

One of the only chairmen to take a strict action against criminals in spot fixing
