Name the bogeyman players for each team in the realm of cricket

David Warner v Pakistan. Hard to think of a player in recent memory that has murdered one team as much as him. And Pakistan's fielding always manages to play a great supporting role in his biggest murder sprees.

Think you could make thread on bogey teams too.

Like India generally having the upper hand on Pakistan...New Zealand regularly getting the better of India...Australia always killing New Zealand...West Indies doing well against England even when they are at their worst...England consistently having the wood over South Africa.

RIzbabar in their current form playing for Pakistan. you don't need opposition to do anything.

Nope...most Indians had and have tremendous respect for him as a cricketer.

The dislike bit happened after he became PM and started tweeting day and night about India and Modi like a broken record.

In odi not anymore. It's 5 - 5 vs nz. For India in WC events

In t20 india have upper hand mostly now. In bilaterals. One point it was 7 - 1 in nz favour. Now it's completely flipped. India raced ahead. Haven't met in ko stages though for a while.

In tests yea. Recently. We lost at home for the first time

Let's see how the young gen does away next time.

They whitewashed India in India and whitewashed India at home.

In recent ICC tournaments, India beat them twice in the 2023 WC. But NZ beat India in the 2019 WC SF, the 2021 WTC Final, and the 2016 and 2021 T20 WC. Seems obvious to me which team has the edge right now.

Wtc is a farce. Don't care about one off.but yes after like 30 something years they won a test series in India.

They do have the wood over us in tests.

In odi it's even now in ko in world cuo events

In t20 we have not beaten them in an icc tournament but hold a h2h advantage in actually all formats.

We need to correct the t20 losses first and then tests next time

After yesterday's thrashing by Shahzaib, India U19 have a boogeyman player for them named "SHAHZAIB".

Key thing - he's a leftie too. Need a good leftie in KO's to mitigate some of the sameness. Not 100% but a contributing factor. Ind didnt have a a single leftie in their 23 WC final [Jadeja excluded as hes pretty useless as a batter] in their top 6 and made it easier for Aus. Aus for example had Head, Warner. Ind in previous finals had quality lefties - yuvraj raina gambhir. The next gen Ind talent will rectify it - jasiwal abhishek, tilak, rinku - a plethora of them
