This is why the left-wing pseudo-secular liberal group has lost ground in India. You hardly find them engaging in meaningful discussions without resorting to insults and personal jibes. What else can be expected from them, including their leaders from the fake Gandhi dynasty? This frustration continuing as they keep losing elections one after another, and they will have to live with it for the rest of their lives. The only coping mechanism they have to vent their frustration over losing their beloved party is to resort to personal attacks.

If there is any state where the BJP has no chance, it is Kerala. They can win in West Bengal, but not in Kerala due to various political dynamics. However, the BJP may significantly improve its vote share in the upcoming elections but can't win unless Christians move away from the UDF.

There is a beginning to everything, I wouldve never expected this new inroads for BJP. I am holding out hope in the years ahead things will change and BJP will take Kerala...

This Rotti guy is as disconnected from Kerala and India as he is from his own reality :dhoni

There is an equivalent of the RSS but for the Nair community in Kerala who have been backing Tharoor. That's the only reason he has been winning Thiruvananthapuram. But it's been a close fight for him in recent times. The Nairs are the equivalent of the Shettys/Bunts in Karnataka. The Shettys shifted to the BJP a couple decades back and it looks like the Nairs have also been doing so in recent times. But there aren't enough Nairs in Kerala to influence an outright election result. They are influential, but that too has declined over time. Many erstwhile Nair strongholds in Kerala like Calicut have a decadent vibe to them when you visit. And it's Muslims who are flourishing in those places, flush with Gulf money and their own business skills. That is also another reason for resentment, as some of them need someone else to blame for their stagnation which is a result of their own complacency. There is a very similar thing that has happened in parts of Coorg. But Kodavas have at least had a historical issue with Tipu Sultan and as a result have been distrustful of Muslims, generally speaking.

When Pulwama happened, other than me, this Rotti guy was the only other Indian here who expressed suspicions about Modi perhaps being an enabler just to win the elections. When I brought it up with him some months later, he openly said he didn't care so long as Modi won.

This is a guy who deeply felt that jawans were killed to win an election. And he was ok with it. That's the mentality of some of them.
