Perhaps if you had actually commented with substance instead of just waffling I could give a proper reply.
Again, I am not belittling his performance but you make it sound like winning a tournament for your team (through brilliant but not sole contributions) is the be all and end all of cricket. Had he done what Stokes did in this World Cup etc, then you could say he has really single handedly taken his team to the trophy. That’s not even close to the case. So one good performance doesn’t set up his career.
There are many plays who started cricket with a bang like Fakhar, Mendis, Hassan Ali but they will never got the hype that this guy does because he plays for England.
If he doesn’t play again, history should remember him as having one brilliant tournament then the award for being the most overhyped player over the next two years. When he is compared alongside the likes of Cummins, Hazlewood, Bumrah, Rabada LOL.
He is far closer to Naseem than them.
