Besides his hitting, he played Raza quite well too and wasn't just doing tullay baazi. Good signs.

Yeah he probably won’t get a game with LQ but it will be a great expernice to learn from big hitters.

Hope he gets picked as a 21st player by some franchise. This will be very good for his development. Those franchises can later take the credit for discovering him like IU did for Shadab.

One thing he needs to develop is a greater range of strokes for back of length deliveries pitched outside off-stump.

I still can't get over that clip; his hitting ability is unreal. The power he gets behind them shows along with the arm extension is just unbelievable.

Sohail Akhtar though is around 31 years of age but is selected by Lahore Qalandars. Nasir Nawaz is a freelancer as of now

Sohail Akhtar is a very good pick... Guy is a beast, he hits them big,very very big and effortlessly.
100 metre guy.
He is mostly regarded as bowler but i think his batting is very special, he hits consistently and quite big

He definitely should, his power hitting is very unreal, he hits them for fun.
Although he is decent as a bowler aslo.
You can check youtube videos of his batting..
In National T20 Cup last year he hit a shot like helicopter shot, it was a such a great shot, it was a yorker ball and he sort of rotated his wrists and ball was out of park.
One thing that might not work for him is that he is almost 32 years old, although if given opportunity in PSL and if he makes it big there, then he might be in Pak colours very soon.
He also smashed 85 of 45 balls in ongoing regional OD cup

Yes I have seen him in few matches in national T20, he definitely is a good pock no doubt about that.

Nasir Nawaz ignored, Mukhtar Ahmed ignored and a couple of others. I was really optimistic with the extra players allotment but then they went and chose the legend that is Masood. Sometimes its very hard to be a Pakistani fan.

Yes he has been in 50 over tournaments and one of the three centurions in the National T20 but that also included a lot of misfields, dropped catches and our man bowlers were on national duty. Since he is a TTF opener I would have liked to have gone with Mukhtar or Nasir, especially in T20.

He should give up his bowling and concentrate on batting. He has got real potential there. Maybe be a part time bowler who bowls 2-3 overs in an OD game. Thats it.
