Kami bowled out by Sohail Khan by a length ball and the "great" Chisti assured us that it wasn't a Yorker. It is not just the standard of domestic players that is poor,the commentators are even worse.
 
Butt has been brilliant once again so far.

Looks like a class apart.

lol Butt got overtaken by Umar eventhough he came in at 4.
 
This partnership has been a joy to watch. Both these players have performed their roles impeccably.
 
It saddens me greatly that a guy like Akmal who was supremely talented just threw it all away.

When he first came on the scene most analysts rated him higher than Kohli. :facepalm:

I can bet my lives saving that had Akmal been born on the other side of the border he would have been developed into a modern day great in the mould of Kohli. We just do not know how to "build" a batsman.
 
The Lahore top order has been so good, guys like Hussain Talat and Amad Butt hardly got a chance to bat. I wanted to see how good these so-called "alrounders" are..

It's largely thanks to Salman Butt. He has kept the innings together allowing other sloggers to go all out.

But yea I really wanted to see more of Ammad Butt.
 
This Lahore Whites side can beat the Pakistan national side in 9 games out of 10. Just take out that sifirash selection Arsal Shiekh

EXACTLY. Absolutely hate that kid. I play with him at Diamond Cricket club in Islamabad and there's got to be 50 better spinners than him but he plays every single game. Can't bat, can't bowl, he can't even field properly.

I hope he gets a proper earful from his teammates and opposition. I would have bullied the pants off of someone who I knew was using his daddy to take another deserving kid's place.

Not easy coming in for the first time and facing fuller deliveries. He might not be that good with the bat but that last shot was nice.

In short: its too early to say anything. We need to see more. But you guys are quick to judge.

I'm not against the guy or anything but I don't understand the hype around him being a strong hitter. From the little that I've seen of him, I only see him as someone better than Anwar Ali.
 
I was interested to see who this Tariq Haroon guy is who is going all guns blazing.


And then he turns out to be a 39 year old oldie :facepalm:
 
I was looking forward to seeing Arsal Sheikh getting carted around.

Bats at 11, captain doesn't trust u with even one over.
Fielded reminded me of Raza Hasan.
He should have some shame and retire.
Maybe get a job for PIA or something.
 
Among all the domestic hacks, Shahzaib Hasan actually plays through the line. doesn't look all that ugly.

There's no finger spinner in world cricket who puts more revs on the ball than Zafar. He's a rare talent and has a killer instinct to go with it.

Also scored a match winning 60 of 30 balls in the last match, after his captain had increased the required run rate from 7 to 9 and the team was reeling at 14/3.
 
So Saud Shakeel still hasn't played in this tournament?

i would say play Shahzaib with sharjeel.we have nothing to loose and play saad as an allrounder instead of YS
 
How can any one want Shehzad back in the Pakistani side? The guy is terrible.
