Yes, after a huge sample of 30 games i guess

Jokes aside, there are many players in our domestic who arent good enough for International standards.

For example Zohaib Khan, Iftikhar, Bhatti, Anwar, Raffat, Israrullah, Musaddiq, Owais Zia, Navid Yasin and many many other players.

And second reason is PCB isn't ready to invest in potentially good players. There are many players who have been wasted in domestic circuit, and more will i assume.

But atm, some steps are being taken to improve our domestic cricket, i hope eventually we will see some good results.

There are many players who need investment in them, if PCB do, like other countries did. Then i am sure we will see a better team soon enough.

So let's see.

I have seen Ahsan today, albeit in palm top - tremendous potential, but why this guy has that sort of domestic stats? Even if Inzi picks him for PAK A (Let alone PAK), how is he going to justify that?

Inzi already stated he doesn't care what your average is in the domestic circuit and how much you score is in one match etc. You just need to prove to him that you have what it takes to become a International player.

Please Count How many matches he has played in last 5 years in Domestic List A & FC not even 20 % of Total matches being played.

Why Regional Team did not pick best Right hand batting talent of Sindh in either of Two Fc teams of Qea 3 seasons ?


And when He made his first Fc hundred a Double Ton at Age of 18 19 for UBL and averaged 40 plus that season than why he wasn't given matches he deserved ?


Akbar ur Rehman, Asad Shafiq & Saleem Jaffar got him selected this time and today was his last game. If he did not score today that He would have beem dumped from televised matches for 2-3 years and NBP would have dropped him aswell.

He Outperformed Zia ul Haq, Mir Hamza & Tabish Khan on deadliest SL wicket in very difficult weather and got dropped from Pakistan A squad despite performing. He was misused by Captain and Coach. He is new ball bowler but was brought in at 2nd and 3rd change intentionally. Still Outperformed them and next tour dropped needlessly.



I have been his biggest Supporter online but his Strongest format is FC cricket where he has excelled in last 4 Seasons by taking 166 wickets more than anyone.


Want him to get a PSL contract.

Ehsan Adil (He was my last love at first sight young Pakistani.I have been such a huge fan of this guy from day one in that U19 WC that I saw him. I saw him few more time in Pak domestic T20's & waited patiently to watch him in longer version of the game.

Then this is what I wrote about him first time I saw him other than a T20 game in Pakistan.

Watching Ehsan Adil bowl (other than in T20's) for the first time and here are my (some)observations.

• -- Nice smooth action
• -- So far bowled at good line and length - around or just outside off stump
• -- Have not seen too much of seam movement but I have only seen 3 overs yet and he was given a ball after new ball bowlers had long first spell.
• -- All of his overs were against Azhar who has not been able to get off strike off him and give UA a chance to bat against him. I would love to watch UA bat against Ehsan.

I would defiantly bowl with him in SA tests, He can do some good asif style bowling there. I hope they give him a chance ahead of Irfan who I wouldn't rely on for more than few over in a test match. He has reminded me so much of Asif - same teasing length -

He might not be as successful in International cricket right away but I would for sure give him couple of seasons as someone like him is bound to get better with time, I like this kid.

Also what makes Ehsan real good is that he even gets closer to the stumps than asif did - After two international seasons of test cricket - this guy might become really really good test bowler.

Here I am talking about Ahsan Ali, the Karachi batsman. Brilliant timer & in many years, I see a PAK opener who is not hitting the ball, rather timing it with crispy strokes. Besides, he can play through off side & hit on back foot. His balance is good & has a very good bat swing from high back lift. If he can learn the skill of surviving the odd lack of concentration, can be a fantastic partner of Sharjeel. He was batting with Asad today & looked to me more fluent than the best contemporary all-round player of PAK. Needs to get out of Karachi block - it's spoiled by Fawad, Manzoor, Faisal, Latif groups. And this guy Basit Ali........

Oh my bad...I saw Ehsan and I got excited as I like the kid. Much Much more than Gul, Tanveer, Sami, IK, and even Sohail Khan and i hope he can make it to Aus....I'd love to see how he'd bowl in D/N test with an orange ball. Check out how he set hafeez up for QeA final with orange ball.


I will keep an eye on that karachi opener. Seems karachi is finally producing some exciting batsmen.

One of the main reason is, among other venues, Karachi wickets are best for batting & the duration of FC matches are a bit longer.

I understand Umar amin at opening spot but, Shafiq definitely no looks really ugly when trying to accelerate and has been given 50 plus matches to prove his worth which he has failed quite miserably. An excellent test batsmen though.

How is Zohaib Khan not good for international cricket? He played very well in the A and Lion tours. Strange to list a really good off spinner in that bracket. If PCB wastes players and keeps them rotting away in domestic of course they will struggle when they come up against international quality

On what basis? Does he open in domestic? Did he scored runs at that particular position? FYI, just to let you know he tried opening in last season, failed miserably so then went back to number #4.
