However, the worse thing is ,for some reason, Central punjab hasn't played Ahmed Bashir in any of the domestic games so far (incuding the 3 or 4 QeA games and the T20 national cup games). Surely PCB or the Central Punjab cheif selector (if there even is one) has taken note of this (and has/ would eventually informed Babar about this also)

He is also a six hitter, Fakhar doesn't really hit sixes. Rizwan Hussain has better technique as well. The only problem is that he either doesn't get a chance or when he does he throws his wicket away.

I have never said Naseem or Fakhar are bad, that's probably someone else. But Usman doesn't have any performances to back his selection. Naseem and Fakhar do (Fakhar did). Usman bowls a lot of loose balls

Zahid is better then him, Shadab, Mir hamza, mohsin is better then him, ibtisham is better then him. If he is so good why doesn't he even get to play in domestics with all the connections.

Yes he was better but, than Rahat Ali, Sameen Gul, Ehsan Adil were better than Musa in QAE trophy this season. There are few things I things in which Management like to go with their eye and gut feeling and obviously if it will not turn out to be good then they will answerable.

Irfan has the best economy in this tournament with it being under 5 which is extraordinary and he is only selected thinking about T20 WC, if he wont perform in Aus than obviously he will be out. Ashish Nehra was also selected in similar scenario by India for 2016 T20 WC.

Coming to Irfan jnr, I doubt he will get a match unless Abbas gets injured. Though I would have preferred either Ehsan Adil or Sameen Gul as covers for Abbas but I think management wanted more experience with 2 debutants and Shaheen with 3 matches.

Iftikhar’s selection is pretty simple. Considering Shaheen is coming of from deangue and Musa and Naseem ball with such pace and energy and their bodies are still developing so it would have been bad move to over burden them with just 4 specialist bowlers in the playing xi. Iftikhar is a decent batsman with 11 100s in FC and decent off spinner to keep things tight and to ball against lefties and in the mean time give rest to the pacers. With him Pak can also go with a 4 man pace attack if required.

So misbah has selected a guy who's not going to play and has taken 6 wickets at 54 and misbah said he's selected on performance. just to make up the numbers. I see.

I like Usama Mir and was surprised he never debuted under Mickey as he rated him pretty highly. Its unfortunate that Mir, Ibtisam couldnt get games. While Mohsin definitely impressed me but I think he will be better of with few more matches and over under his belt as he is a late developer as a bowler because he was mostly playing and known as a batting all rounder.
