Semi-Final 1: Northern vs Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Semi-Final 2: Balochistan vs Southern Punjab.

Khyber have a very good attack..mohsin leggie still to come..Northern couldnt fit haider ali as the hack Imran ali made few runs last game
 
Usman Khan Shinwari Bowling brilliantly at the moment.

1/2 (2 overs) with a maiden over and got some swing (outswing to the right hander)
 
Umar Amin looks like a really promising batsman (and has good technique too). He should at least be chosen for Pakistan A team (to prove himself).
 
Muhammad Musa Khan is not in the lineup and not in the reserves (for northern) because he is unfit since he confirmed himself that he had a stomach bug.
 
great performance from Khyber ..just about sneaked into semis and i think they will go and win the tournament

the northern team management really deserve lots of praise... giving oppertunities to youngsters on top of the innings .... and giving chance to young bowlers... well done who ever they are....

only thing is Haider ali should have got a chance

I completely agree bro..only Haider Ali hasnt got a chance..but they gave naveed malik two games..them this Imran guy..so they had to be fair you cant drop someone after a game..and imran who i am not impressed with at all..did well last game so couldnt be dropped
 
rauf who hasnt been impressive at all..is costing northern big time..should be a cake walk for Khyber now

Just not that but Rohail, Musa, Harris Rauf, Imran all got chances and none of them are the TTFz... even Nawaz and shadab and Naveed are given chances , proper chances,.... good work

To be honest I'm not impressed by Rauf. His attitude is probably worse than Hasan Ali's. There were a couple of incidents in this PSL and a couple of comments he made after the PSL. He needs to get his head straight first. He is nobody at the moment and I don't think the selectors are even looking at him right now. If his attitude is bad right now, what will it be like if he makes the national team.

It's good to be aggressive, but Rauf is arrogant even though he hasn't done anything. He also brags about being able to bowl 150kph on his shirt number or twitter.

No speedometer doesnt help as without that its not easy to accurately judge as I think people even dont know how quick Naseem Shah has been.

Could you elaborate on Raufs attitude and give some examples? Because during psl I was very impressed by him, especially his pace and Yorkers... that other bowlers weren't bowling that much or that well. It really would be sad to learn that little fame is making him complacent.
 
The power Khushdil Shah has in his strokes is pretty impressive.

Its part and parcel of the game which should take nothing away from what they have done. As I have seen many players who can even make use of the chances.
 
Sohail Tanvir has been pretty impressive in this tournament.
 
third man is up thats dangerous..surley they are 7 down you need to have all the fielders back
 
This is SA level choking but credit to Haris Rauf and Imad

Is as good as it gets, it can easily be a decent bowling lineup for any international T20 team too and they havent let their side down.

During a game there was that awkward celebration when he ran Dan Christian out. Apparantly he had been offered to play domestic cricket before he played PSL 4, because his name had already gone out and people were seeing him play for LQ outside the PSL, he declined the offer to play domestic and said that "I don't need domestic, I will get into the Pakistan team directly from the PSL."

The fact that his shirt number is 150 to tell everyone he can bowl 150 (which he hasn't done a single time in a match) is also not good. It's a bit like when Younis Khan started using his HS Y10K bat before he actually got 10K test runs, and the fact that he had to tell everyone he had 10K runs with his bat sticker was quite weird.
 
Wait what happenned, I missed it. When I stopped watching it looked like KP would cruise to victory, Khushdil had just come in.

This was a rumour spread by some journalists who looked like they have an axe to grind with Haris/LQ. Wouldn't pay much attention to it.

You're joking right? I'll admit that the Dan Christian dismissal didn't seem the best, but it was very clearly in good fun. Secondly, You are entirely incorrect in quoting him for saying that he won't play domestic cricket. There is absolutely no evidence of that statement, but rather just reports from certain sources. Lastly, the 150 on his back is motivation for him to hit that mark, If you'd have watched the PSL you'd have known that. It's truly disappointing to see such individuals taking blow at cricketers for no apparent reason.

relatively stupid commentary.... he was in Aus for a long time traniing with the LQ team... and he was kept away from the domestic as he was to be played as an emerging player... so these sports journalist have less value than a cat meowing on the street (replace cat with something else lol )

I don't hate him. I think he talented and is one to look out for. I just heard from many people on PP that were saying this. I might not be 100% right.

Also why would I want trundlers. I was one of the first guys saying that Naseem should be in the team, Musa should be around Waqar, Hasnain should be playing t20is and Sameen should be in the team.

Haris has a short amount of time to break in to the team compared to these guys. He is already 26-27 and he needs to start performing very soon. The young guys are outperforming him at the moment.
 
Faisalabad, 23 October 2019:

Northern beat Khyber Pakhtunkhwa by three runs in a last over thriller at Faisalabad’s Iqbal Stadium to secure a spot in the final of the National T20 Cup.

Northern fast-bowler Haris Rauf defended eight runs in the last over, taking three wickets in process, of the first semi-final.

Haris started the over by taking the wicket of Iftikhar Ahmed, the top-scorer of the run-chase with 53 from 45 balls. Musadiq Ahmed (0 off 1), Zohaib Khan (5 off 5) and Mohammad Mohsin, who was run-out, were the other three wickets to fall in the over.

Northern had set a target of 149 after being asked to bat by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa captain Mohammad Rizwan.

Opener Umar Amin scored a 33-ball 43, hitting four fours and a six, and stitched a 50-run stand for the third-wicket with wicketkeeper-batsman Rohail Nazir, who scored run-a-ball 21.

Asif Ali was the other notable run-getter as he scored 28 runs from 16 balls with two sixes and a four.

With five wickets for just 13 runs in four overs, Usman Shinwari was the star performer with the ball, while Imran Khan Jnr took two wickets for 31 runs.

In their chase, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa lost opener Sahibzada Farhan (o off 4) in the first over. After scoring run-a-ball 15, Rizwan followed him back to the pavilion in the fifth over.

A 65-run stand for the third-wicket between Fakhar Zaman (39 off 31) and Iftikhar, who hit six fours, stabled the run chase.

Khushdil Shah’s 17-ball 22, which had three fours, consolidated Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s position in the match.

But, the match turned on its head in the last over.

For taking three wickets for 26 runs in three overs and defending eight runs in six balls, Haris bagged man-of-the-match award.

With two wickets for 24 runs in four overs, Sohail Tanvir was the other notable bowler in the match.

Northern 148-9, 20 overs (Umar Amin 43, Asif Ali 28, Rohail Nazir 21; Usman Shinwari 5-13, Imran Khan Jnr 2-31

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 145-8, 20 overs (Iftikhar Ahmed 53, Fakhar Zaman 39, Khushdil Shah 22; Haris Rauf 3-26, Sohail Tanvir 2-24)

Honestly National T20 is better quality than PSL.

Many railu Ketha foreigners fill up the up four players quota
 
Faheem played over ammad butt in PSL. Ammad is already better bowler than Faheem plus have hitting ability. Not a complete all rounder but still the closest thing we have in Pakistan to all rounder
 
Mr Butt has done enough to be given a good run in the T20 side for Pakistan. What a performance whilst under pressure.
