Shaheen isn't available for 2 matches i think so Asif Afridi could end up leading wicket taker as i believe spinners will have huge impact in Lahore leg of tournament and Basit should select Zahid Mehmood as he was highest wicket taker for them but got dropped its unfair. In batting Sharjeel and Sahabzada could be key performers.

Four Balochistan players participating in the National T20 have tested positive. Following this development:

• The four Balochistan players have been placed in a 10-day quarantine

• All other players were asymptomatic and tested negative, and will continue to participate in the tournament

• All other participants and their families underwent testing on Tuesday and have returned negative

• The second match on 6 October between Northern and Balochistan has been swapped with Northern and Southern Punjab match. This means Northern and Balochistan match will now be played on 9 October under floodlights

• Balochistan-Khyber Pakhtunkhwa match on 7 October will be played as scheduled. Balochistan will beef up their squad with players from their Cricket Association Championship three-day tournament side. The player transfer will be from bubble-to-bubble but the replacement players will undergo CT-PCR testing as per the PCB Covid-19 Protocols

• Pakistan players and player support staff for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021 will participate in the National T20 on 6 and 7 October. On 8 October, they will shift to the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup bubble, being set-up by the PCB as per the ICC regulations.

• The PCB continues to monitor the situation and is retesting all participants and their families. It has also been decided the frequency of testing will be increased for the remainder of the tournament.

The World cup bubble needs to be formed by the 8th October as per ICC requirements. Therefore any changes will need to be made in the next day or so. Otherwise apart from the reserves being brought into the main squad i do not envisage any further changes

Nawaz batting well a pleasant surprise, Maybe he improve his hitting earlier everything he was dragging to leg and now he hit some good shots over cover.

Haider looks in good touch, I think Malik, Haider & Wahab needs to be bought in place of Khushdil, Azam, Hasnain.

ATF Southern Punjab were fined for maintaining a slow over-rate in their Thursday’s fixture against Home City Central Punjab in the ongoing National T20 2021-22.

Southern Punjab were found an over short of their target after taking into account time allowances and, as such, were charged under Article 2.22 of the PCB Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel, which deals with the minimum over-rate offences. As such, all members of the playing XI were fined PKR10,000.

Southern Punjab captain Aamer Yamin accepted the sanction proposed by match referee Mohammad Javed Malik. The charges were levelled by on-field umpires Zameer Haider and Rashid Riaz and third umpire Asif Yaqub.

Southern Punjab won the match, played at the Gaddafi Stadium, by six wickets.

Nawaz has been batting up the order and can get set before playing his shots before he used to get 3 overs to slog which isn't his game.
