I have watched different channels and their corruption bachao rally is being covered by EVERY single channel, mazloomiat ka shoq hai inko.

Imran Khan joined Twitter in 2010, Followers 6.03 millions and number of tweets? Only 4600

Apparently another child hit by journalist Mubashir Zaidi's car and they took him to hospital, child suffered head injuries but hopefully will recover soon.

Bilawal Bhutto jalsa in Chiniot, looks quite impressive.

What does he talk about? Zulfiqar Bhutto's work decades ago lol, surely they could have done lot more??
 
By the way, interesting progress as PTI has announces election tickets distribution committee to award tickets.

NA1 potential candidate has met Khan sb as well and they want to award tickets early in case elections are called earlier.

I personally think elections will be called earlier, Nawaz Sharif will start to lose popularity when NAB probe starts and huge media focus will damage PMLN and elections will probably overshadow the trial.

Nawaz may announce something today.

Considering PPP is near dead in Punjab attendance was pretty good in the Jalsa. Having said that the lights in the pic on the far side of jalsa pretty much exposed how big of a Jumm-e-Gafeer it was. At best 3000 people attended the jalsa.

Maximum establishment can do is to jail him...(this will compromise the freedom of justice system) ban his speeches to be broadcasted...(this will compromise the freedom of media)...they can reject submission papers of pmln candidates (this will compromise the political system)...basically no good option available for establishment.

Of course, TUQ and IK would love it as they want technocrats' govt (while they are the front man of establishment) .. however, it would be a dictatorship...and I think after every 7/8 years pakistani people demand dictatorship.

the way he is criticisizing the most respected institution ie SC,,his speech should be banned on all channels......he is no different to altaf hussain..,there is no need for such a liar and dishonest person,jisko bas apni hi parrhi ha.

It is good that IK will himself oversee the ticket distribution process. And Asad Umar is the only general member in both boards.

They need to make some major changes in KP some of these MPs can't win again. Good to see Asad there and i heard PK is made political adviser of IK that's great because Khattak is a really smart politician.
 
It is 'ro imran ro' but it is typically hard to distinguish between two slogans. Both sides can claim it's in their favor.

It is really difficult, almost impossible to replace winning candidates of the previous elections.

May be some surveys could be conducted on relatively smaller scale?

In other parts of Pak it will look strange to replace winning candidates but KP people love to see new faces so IMO PTI need to rotate some of these non performing MPs although it will create lot of issues within the party and can cause more groupings. Heard last year Tareen team is building an app with all the local constituencies data and they are going to use it for surveys before next elections so i guess they should also get the feedback about their MPs from their constituencies.

With due respect, Judiciary is the second most notorious institution in Pakistan, after military.
As this institution is used again and again the middle man.

Beggars given money to attend Nawaz Sharif rally on GT Road: Hamid Mir

Prominent anchorperson Hamid Mir has made startling revelations regarding the Nawaz Sharif rally on GT Road.
While talking to a private TV channel he said that beggars have been called in the pmln really on GT Road.
He further revealed that pmln leaders have given money to the beggars to bring them to the Nawaz Sharif rally.
Earlier such claims were also made on the social media.

They usually attack autos like a bee brigade. Their absence occured to me as an after thought on Friday evening. On Saturday I witnessed it first hand.

I thought it was far fetched to corelate it with MNS rally and asked other PPers to observe it in respective cities.

As it seems, there indeed was a corelation.

Well done, great observation, one which could only be made by someone affected by people living on the streets.

Isn't it funny NS has been PM 3 times, yet has been unable to do anything for the homeless except for when he needed them. Just goes to show what user and abuser he and his party are. Those blowing smoke up his backside now will suffer the same fate

For all his faults I never once pictured Mian Sahib to be the Roundu Type :facepalm:

I guess it's safe to say we can now add that to the list of negatives this man brings to the table......

He says we had so many plans for Pakistan. Someone should ask him what was he doing from last 4 years? It's still PMLNs government. What's stopping them from completing those plans? maybe NS thinks only he is smart enough to be the PM from his party everyone else is dumb.

If anyone genuinely believes in his work, this should be enough to think twice before they vote for him. You had 4 years to implement your plans but you failed as per your own admission and you don't even consider a PMLN government without YOU as worthy of implementing your plans??
Only you are not there which makes no difference if you were genuinely working for Pakistan and not for your personal glory. Yet another example it's all about him and his family and NOT Pakistan.

And this is exactly where the downfall of PML-N comes from. Before all the PTI surge and the 2008 influx of political awareness in the country PML-N was always regarded as a party where there weren't any necessary family prerequisites needed to obtain a party ticket. If you were a good enough politician then you would most likely contest elections under their banner but in recent years this particular feature of PML has almost been sidelined and the party is now being run much similar to how PPP do their politics.

The class of 1985 who were the adopted children coming out of the GHQ has a major rift among them due to this very reason and NS along with Maryam are probably the biggest stooges who have caused the decline.

Just came back home from work.
The passion and joy that I witnessed today, felt like people are celebrating Freedom actually. Freedom in atmosphere on roads was vibrant.

Best thing was abstinence from Wheeling and Firing.

Not really relevant to the march discussion, but my wife had a Close Encounter With The Noora Kind a couple of days ago. She was flying back to the US, and waiting in the Rawal lounge in Islamabad, when in walks... Ishaq Dar.

She said he sauntered to the middle of the lounge, and puffed up his chest, and through the corner of his eyes, scanned the hall to make sure people had noticed him. No one had, which sort of deflated him, until he saw my wife. Not having lived in Pakistan for over a decade and therefore not having seen any famous Pakistanis, she was watching to see how he was acting. She said when he looked in her direction, the look in his eyes was one of unbridled arrogance, as if he was wondering who the hell let her into the lounge. He had an entourage of about ten people, one of whom was apparently there only to hold on to Dar's one piece of carry-on luggage, a small briefcase. Soon, more airport officials arrived to whisk him away to his plane.

On the other side of the planet, I was waiting for the flight to arrive (my wife's, not Dar's). Also on the flight were Tapu Javeri, and Fifi Haroon. Both of them emerged pushing their own luggage, carrying themselves with utmost decorum and decency. Javeri even shook hands with the driver holding the sign with his name. They may not be household names, or rich in the way Dar is rich. But it goes to show how there are certain things money just can't buy.
