"DevilMan Crybaby" and "Love, Death, and Robots" are my two favorite series on Netflix. Very fine pieces of art that can speak to you personally on many levels. Definitely recommend.
whats it about ?
Every episode tells a short story about different things that are very random and imaginative. All are animated in very different styles and take on a specific subject matter present it beautifully. Ep lengths range from 3 mints or 12 mints. Do give it a watch, will not take more than 2 hours to finish
thank , will definitely check it out
Watched The Ripper.
Investigators and witnesses recall the Yorkshire Ripper murders, which cast a shadow over the north of England in the late 1970s.
Interesting and worth a watch if you are into true crime.
Saw it the day it was released. 6/10, expected more from it. May be season 2 will be more exciting.Lupin.
A retelling of the classic French story about Arsène Lupin, the world-famous gentleman thief and master of disguise.
Brilliant.
Lupin.
A retelling of the classic French story about Arsène Lupin, the world-famous gentleman thief and master of disguise.
Brilliant.
The masterly "disguises" seem to be taken from the Superman school of disguises where apparently all you have to do is wear a pair of glasses and a orange beanie to become instantly transformed into someone totally unrecognizable or the Shahensha guide where you very fake looking white hair and beard.
The series itself is full of cliches, plot holes and one can see the "twists" coming a mile away. However there are worse things you can watch if you just want to switch off your mind and pass the time.
The Vanishing at the Cecil Hotel
The four-part documentary series from director Joe Berlinger looks into the 1993 disappearance of Elisa Lam from Los Angeles' Cecil Hotel.
Brilliant. Highly recommend it for anyone who likes true crime documentaries.
Watching Breaking Bad....
for the first time
Amazon Prime has better content and Netflix eventually buy the rights..

You're going to enjoy it. It may seem like slow to start off with, but once you get deep into the series, you'll be full riveted.
Just finished it and absolutely loved it!!

Better Call Saul. A prequel to Breaking Bad. Absolutely love it.

Just binging this right now, on episode 3, was about to sleep after the 2nd but I guess I'm gonna get to the end of it. It's very intriguing.
The office, parks and recs, community... Some decent originals too but NBC Peacock is taking most of the content back
Into episode three of Behind Her Eyes.
So far so good
Just started watching that tonight.
Heard it's good.
Binged through After Life this weekend. Absolutely loved it. British humour is something else
For people who have seen it, anything similar out there?

I didn't know whether to laugh or be sad at times.

Three words
Oh dear lord
I got bored with it.
I watched all 6 episodes but the last couple of episodes were a real drag in my opinion.
Maybe I was expecting more.
Just finished it.

Let's just say it's kept me guessing so far...
The lead actress is Bono's daughter
Started off well. Went downhill towards the end. Overrated.
Bonkers show, that...
Jamtara, well made series about a bunch of rural village boys doing telephone credit card scams in India, worth a binge watch, acting is top notch from a very unknown cast.
I watched 'Them' on Netflix. Reminded me of Jordan peeles Us. Such a good series, well paced and surreal. Highly recommended
Finished all 3 seasons of "The Dark".
1/10. Absolute damp squib, wasted so many hours watching it with nothing coming out of it in the end. Just kept waiting for it to give me thrills but it just didn't!
Almost all central characters just kept going in past/future at will in the name of time travel via a cave or a machine. There were so many characters being shown simultaneously at different stages of their lives, which made it extremely difficult to keep track as to who was who!
True. Writer expects us to read series Wiki just to understand what's happening on screen or somethingmade it extremely difficult to keep track as to who was who
Poor me! Just kept expecting for non existent thrills!I am glad that I ain't the only one who hated it. I only managed to watch 1st season, never bothered again despite the fuss and ratings![]()
I did. Great watch!Anyone watched Paatal Lok?
