Easily the worst show I have seen over the last few months is Money Heist...I honestly for the life of me don’t understand why it’s so highly rated...i felt it was atrocious and the only remotely interesting character (spoiler) doesn’t survive the 1st season...writing was terrible, the characters were all unlikable, the ringleader relied on luck not smarts, the policewoman was an absolute fool...a show that made you dislike all the characters...

Every episode tells a short story about different things that are very random and imaginative. All are animated in very different styles and take on a specific subject matter present it beautifully. Ep lengths range from 3 mints or 12 mints. Do give it a watch, will not take more than 2 hours to finish

The masterly "disguises" seem to be taken from the Superman school of disguises where apparently all you have to do is wear a pair of glasses and a orange beanie to become instantly transformed into someone totally unrecognizable or the Shahensha guide where you very fake looking white hair and beard.

The series itself is full of cliches, plot holes and one can see the "twists" coming a mile away. However there are worse things you can watch if you just want to switch off your mind and pass the time.

Beneath the sunlit glamour of 1985 LA lurks a relentlessly evil serial killer. In this true-crime story, two detectives won't rest until they catch him.

Very good. Well worth a watch if you are into your true crime.

Follows a WW2 American tank crew. Brad Pitt, Jon Bernthal, Michael Pena, Shia LeBeouf.

Absolutely loved it, 9/10.

It was an amazingly done war film, dramatic, funny, heart-breaking. The tank warfare scenes were breath-taking

Jaimie said she would make suspects 'fall in love' with her and lull them into a false sense of security to get information out of them
Viewers branded Belinda a 'hero' for her courage in bringing killers to justice
Others argued it was 'insanity' to put her niece in any sort of danger like that

Watched Into The Night, a Netflix original series from Belgium, recently. It's centred on a very interesting dystopian concept regarding a change in the sun's polarity which leads to a mass global extinction event due to exposure to sunlight. The characters survive by virtue of being on a commercial flight which is hijacked and forced to fly towards the west 'into the night'. It's rather well executed and some of the acting is excellent. Connoisseurs of French television might recognize Pauline Étienne and Alba Gaïa Bellugi from the famed Canal Plus series Le Bureau des Légendes.

A British crime drama television series developed by Drama Republic for Netflix. Based on the works of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, it features the Baker Street Irregulars working for Dr. Watson saving London from supernatural elements.


It started off quite well, but after watching 3 episodes I'm at the point where I'm going to give up on it.

7/10. 1 extra mark for suspense that's being built up in the dying moments of Season 1. Earlier episodes aided in it looking like a usual run-of-the-mill revenge drama in which a happy go lucky guy had to serve an 18-years prison sentence for killing her own sister which he obviously he didn't!

Season 2 should be very engaging to watch.

Almost all central characters just kept going in past/future at will in the name of time travel via a cave or a machine. There were so many characters being shown simultaneously at different stages of their lives, which made it extremely difficult to keep track as to who was who!

Poor me! Just kept expecting for non existent thrills!

I mean if there was such a simple solution (going back in time to change the thing which ultimately led it too all that mess!) to save the world from the impending apocalypse, why wait for 16 more hrs to unleash it on us? Could've finished it in the first season itself!

A judge has denied a request by lawyers for elderly real estate multimillionaire Robert Durst that his trial be indefinitely halted on the grounds that he is very ill.

Durst, 78, is charged with the murder in 2000 of his best friend Susan Berman.

He is accused of shooting the writer because of what she might have known about the unsolved disappearance and presumed killing of his wife two decades earlier.

Prosecutors in Los Angeles have said Durst's 2015 arrest in the Berman case was hastened by his apparent confession to multiple killings in the award-winning HBO television series The Jinx.

Durst was arrested on suspicion of Berman's murder one day before the airing of the final episode, in which he seemed to incriminate himself.

After being confronted with a key piece of evidence, a microphone captured Durst muttering to himself: "There it is, you're caught," and "What the hell did I do? Killed them all, of course."

On Monday Durst's lead lawyer, Dick DeGuerin, argued that his client's health has grown "much worse" in the 14 months since the trial was suspended due to COVID-19 restrictions imposed shortly after testimony began.

The emergency defence motion for indefinite postponement cited numerous life-threatening medical issues that Durst's lawyers say he faces, including bladder cancer and a recurrence of oesophageal cancer.

The length of the stoppage is unprecedented and it's the highest-profile US case postponed because of the pandemic, Durst's lawyers said.

Deputy District Attorney John Lewin called the motion a ploy to make "this trial go away".

Superior Court Judge Mark Windham sided with prosecutors, ruling that a physical disorder does not necessarily impair one's competence to stand trial.

The defence also requested Durst be released on bail and placed under electronic monitoring in a private hospital to obtain necessary medical treatment at his own expense.

"The doctor said he is in need of urgent hospitalisation," Mr DeGuerin told the judge. "The question is not whether he can endure the rigours of the trial, the question is whether he can survive at all."

Durst, who was not present for the proceedings, faces a maximum sentence of life in prison if convicted.

Berman, 55, was found dead in her Beverly Hills home a couple of months after police in New York were reported to have reopened an investigation into the fate of Durst's spouse, Kathleen, who was a medical student when she vanished in 1982.

Durst, the multimillionaire grandson of a Manhattan real estate magnate, has been questioned by investigators about his wife but insists he had nothing to do with her disappearance. He was never prosecuted.

The circumstances surrounding both cases, and Durst's 2003 acquittal in the killing and dismemberment of a neighbour in Texas, where he had been living in the guise of a woman, gained wide attention in The Jinx.
