New Bat: AS G200

Just got the AS G200 I ordered about two weeks ago from the AS Factory, and if first impressions mean anything it's an absolute beauty for about $140. 9 STRAIGHT grains, massive edges (39mm) and the bat is only 2'8!

Customs did open up the package (said it on the outside) but didn't incur any extra charges. Having some problems with the camera atm.

Are you kidding me? That bat looks AMAZING for $130, seriously it is cracking deal mate.

The bat looks absolutely amazing, in fact, better than few V3s and V10s I have seen. I like the profile too!

I hope it goes well for you, I think it needs to be oiled no ?

The main thing is that it's so light yet so wide, profile suits my game a bit more than the Sher Amin as well.

And yeah sending it in to get properly knocked in/oiled at Kingsgrove tomorow.

Good thing was the AS factory guys have a contact here in Australia and it's pretty easy to bank deposit it across (I think the AS guy was from NAB), took about 11 days to get through.

Kingsgrove charges $40 IIRC, it's probably overpriced but at least I'll have peace of mind that the bat has been done properly.

You will need to knock in the bat for an hour of 2 after you get is back from kinsgrove, they just get their employees to knock bats in for a little while before their shift and at this time i think they will have quite a few bats to knock in, make sure they fit a scuff sheet after oiling (and drying) aswell!

thats the same as mine, mine has, wait let me go count.......... 9 grains too. aint used it much, gt it for about £70 a year or so ago.

its 2'10 tho i think. ill post some pictures later, altho tbf it looks exactly like yours with similar profile shape and dimensions.

only thing i dont like are the stickers, ive already taken more than half off of my bat.

AS stickers are crap, handles can be hit or miss but the willow and pressing is great. overall the bats are good- Good VALUE for $$,

Not sure which grade it is, but it's going like a train at the moment

I do think the handle will eventually need to be replaced though, just a bit too springy

That is a problem with AS bats in particular, however, consider how cheap these bats are one can get handle replaced with a better and good handle really.

Bat has well and truly broken in now, is going very very well currently.

Had to replace the handle (cost about $60), but otherwise been all smooth sailing
