These videos shared by Cricket Insight member Josh40822 show the new cricket bats from Gray Nicolls for the Australian 2012/13 season.

Shown is the A61, perhaps meaning Area 61mm (i.e the middle is 61mm thick) and the Colossus, a 3lb beast replacing the current Giant range in Australia.

the a61 is apex 61. the head bat maker stuart told me at boxing day test. it is from the front to the top of the profile if you are looking at the edges.

Is it me but a61's profile and e41's profile are more or less the same no ?

Isn't this new a61 a bit like Newbery came out with a while ago? '50 mm'?

I think e41's can have as big spine as a61 tbh.

the a61 will be used by saun marsh. he should of used in the 1st two tests, by gn never got around to catching up with him maybe best for them they didnt if u seen his results in the series.

Ah okay, so Usman Khawaja will still stick with e41?

yes he will, the a61 are very similar design to the evo ones but with the new colourway. it is a direct change. powerbow bat is similar to the uk one, with the gloves and pads the same but again with the new colourway.
