Overall, I am not impressed with these new players. However, it is not the first time that youngsters are making their debuts in SENA countries. While they may lack proper cricketing intelligence, it is unreasonable to expect them to handle the swing and bounce immediately.

Young players who have spent their lives playing on low-bouncing wickets should make their international debuts on similar types of wickets. It is far more prudent to send them on A-tours or arrange camps in SENA countries so they can adapt to the conditions without excessive pressure.

When they fail on these tours, they are simply dropped, and the experienced players are brought back. This has been happening for decades

That is not correct. Tour has been a total flop so far. Good to give the youngsters a chance, that is positive, but you need to differenciate that from the results. Apart from one innings in 5 matches there has been nothing to cherish for.

The only reason NZ keeps inviting Pakistan is because they make some semblance of money on the tour. Otherwise Afghanistan would clearly give NZ a much more tough time. There needs to be justice for Afghanistan. Give them proper tours. They only get to play T20 leagues and ICC tournaments.
