Why isn’t the captain attacking?

Shouldn’t Salman be the captain if he has bigger akhrot than Rizwan?

He doesn't need to set the base, that strategy is outdated. He needs to focus on getting runs on the board.
 
You really should be able to rotate the strike more than this.

I get the strategy but this is a bit much.
 
They are playing according to a certain plan .this is not a high scoring match.

The strategy is for Rizwan to hide like a Mano (Urdu for cat)

Setting base is an outdated method, this isn't the 90s. Also, both Saud and KG are better batsman over Rizwan, just need to give them a bit of time.

i have never seen any worse batting in my life..both tuk tuked for years and now 30 overs have gone both are slogging why is this..
 
Off spinners like Bracewell, Nathan Mccullum, Dilshan, Shoiab Malik, Prosper Utseya, Sikandar Raza may not be huge turners of cricket ball but more than effective in white ball cricket. They don't give much room for the batsmen and they bowl with fast arm action making it difficult for the batsmen to play strokes.
 
so let me figure this out same bowlers...same batters and after 30 overs the pitch has changed where was this intent before when we know its a 340 pitch

Honestly good for Tayyab to get some time out in the middle and make an impression. I feel like there's a decent player in him. Probably a little harshly done that he isn't batting higher up the order

Last I checked, Rizwan was batting at an S/R of 40, and then in an attempt to overcome the pressure, launching began and ended prematurely; is this something we’ve not seen before…….

New Zealand upset Pakistan in the first match with their spinners and in the final they are troubling Pakistan again with spin. Yet we have just one specialist spinner in our squad—approach matters.

Our batsmen cannot play such quality spin.

Bracewell and Santner have literally choked these guys, giving them no pace to work with.

Our boys will be predictably bowling quicker and getting hit, like Phillips did.
 
This Bracewell really like Pakistani batters. Remember he troubled them a few years ago as well.
