New Zealand poaching players from other countries in international cricket

They have been poaching players from countries like South Africa and India in the past but now they haven't even spared Associate nations as they have decided to poach good Associate cricketers like Viljeon, Rippon, van Beek, Chapman. They are the new England of international cricket as England have started to nurture their own homegrown talent. The sad thing is people say they don't take Associate nations seriously because they are mostly made up of expats but what about New Zealand? Why no one talks about their poaching? I heard that they even tried to get Thisara Perera when he was dropped from SL team just shows their desperation.
