Seems that new zealand have been struggling against the weaker teams and afghanistan has been playing good against good teams.

can afghanistan pull this one off?

yes they can

batting needs to click

very inconsistan team are the afghan u19

on they're day they are very very good
but then on they're day very very bad also

noor ul haq
javed ahmadi
najibullah zadran
noori

all have first team experience so its vital that from these four atleast 2/3 click and then other contributions from the rest

NZ 176/7 after 47 overs.

If Afghanistan can keep them under 200 they have done a tremendous job.

And when they bat they just need 1-2 batsmen who fire and make some quickfire fifties.

183/8, 48 overs. 2 very imp overs coming up.

NZ 198 all out. Well done Afghanistan for keeping them under 200.

50 % of the job is done and now need to win the second half as well. Not going to be easy, NZ is a fine cricket side.

NZ gonna lose

Their U19 side is as bad as their senior side lol, poor Kiwis

It's good practice for the young guns to experience the perennial disappointment they'll get in the international arena when they're older!

Maybe not...NZ bowlers either bowling awesomely or afghanistani batsmen battig really rubbish (to say the least!)

the only one batsman looks great is najeen ullah his defence as well attacking both r owesom.he should be given chance at internation level.he made 69.

Just 8 runs separate NZ and the Afghans at the end. Shocking for an international team's U19

like i have been harping on about

najibullah zadran can single handedly take the game away from a team

pity he didnt have much support from the top order.

will be a huge player for the afghan national team in the upcomming t20 worldcup, powerful hitter

it was his birthday yesterday aswell

Yeah bro, he seems to be scoring runs regularly down the order. Can be a good addition to the senior team.
