Don't know much about this squad but our U-16 team won a series in Australia.

New Zealand surprising everyone in World Cricket. They couldn't even win the plate championship in the last tournament. If they beat India under-19s then New Zealand is clearly becoming a force; However, it's very likely that won't happen and they will face Bangladesh in the 1/8 and LOSE!!! they just demolished the West Indies. Most likely either India or Bangladesh will win it – I probably say India. Only way to beat India is to set them a massive score to chase.

I mean why is such a scenario even arising, I mean we have been a U-19 powerhouse for almost 2 decades now and all of a sudden we can't muster a competitive XI. The same system was churning out decent players a good 2 years ago so what changed ??

Is it bad selection ya phir koie aur scene hay ?? I am sorry I am not that quite up to date with recent up coming U-19 players to be honest.

Tbh we did well in that tournament until we lost to India in the QF. After that it was all downhill and they lost the 5th place, 7th place playoffs, etc. Think the team had no interest and was just going through the motions. But that team despite a poor campaign had some good talented players. Not sure I can say the same about the current batch
