Really poor bowling from the bowlers, we haven't bowled well this summer at all (against Aus, SL or Pakistan).

We're going to get slaughtered on Wednesday if we don't turn it around.

Boult clearly behind the likes of Mitch, Milne and Wheeler now.

Out sourcing top order to Akmal's family is way to go for Pakistan... They are the only one who can play like modern batsmen ATM...

Was talking about Hafeez. He was trying a few too many things a few overs ago. Has settled down now.

I agree. Anything less than 300 and we're out of this.
 
There is no excuse not to get 300 on this ground.

Even 300 may not be enough but it gives them a chance at least.
 
We need a big total on this ground. Mccullum can make this start look like nothing if he gets going today.

I think he needs to stay away from T20s until he settles down in International cricket. T20 can easily destroy game of the youngster
 
If Umar Akmal and Babar Azam get the opportunity to bat together, after seeing Babar bat the way he does would that bring the best out of Umar Akmal?
 
Hafeez loves this ground after his MOM award in the T20
 
Hafeez approaching 50 and has started to block, just play normally and yo will be fine.

Don't think so. T20 adds an array of skills to his already impressive repertoire. That's how Australians and Indians improved their overall batting
 
mind you Malik,Azhar and Shehzad will have to combine for 10 overs.

Surprised by the empty ground, I expected a much better turnout.

Hopefully more turnout later in the day.

No fun with dead crowds.

We dont work like Aus/Ind, we destroy batsmen by making their thinking clouded.

I want babar to play all formats but transition needs to be smooth. I would rather have him playing test cricket before he goes slogging in T20s. After an year or so we can try him in T20s
 
Good 50 for Hafeez here, needs to get a 100 here.

Pakistan will need 300+ here just to be on par for this wicket and ground.

They are doing good. Should not lose wickets. Should bat till 10 more overs with 5 or 6 rpo and then carnage
 
Lets hope babar can work through this string of dot balls without playing an ugly slog
 
Are we going to get a full game? any news on the weather later in the evening?

Probably so.

Maybe it's empty because of the early start? Another reason could be the game on Wednesday, which I'm no longer looking forward to lol :))

Need to rotate strike here with singles and not get bogged down to much, hafeez needs to keep taking to babar here and keep him focused.

If you get McCullum and Guptill early, I don't see us chasing 300 against your attack.

Too much on KW to do and I don't trust the others to score much (Nicolls, Eilliot, Anderson, Ronchi and Santner)

Most of those guys are unreliable, not in good touch or not good enough to score against a good attack.

6 on one ball and whole over produces 7.
4 on 1st ball then whole over produces 5.

7 or 5 runs can be taken without hitting 6 or 4 then why to take risk. Rotate strike and these can be 9 - 10 rpo.
