Balance and time

Perfect, MoHa also is a great timer; but I have hardly seen any PAK batsman in last 10-12 years with such perfect balance. For that, with a less body weight & high centre of gravity, he is out standing both in pulls & cuts as well.

Play it cool Babar. Don't get flustered.

Dammit. Could sense a wicket coming. Pressure of dots. Excellent knock but couldve been a maiden ODI 100

Babar gone! loose and stupid shot! pakistan imploding here! no common sense being used.

Now game has swung NZ way big time because a Pak collapse is a big possibility now.

Really hoped for a century here, but he is getting better and better.

The grounds stortest combo together now.

That's a biggy [emoji27][emoji27][emoji27]

Poor choice of shot - he should have played to get his 100; now the scoreboard 'll slow down significantly. Still, PAK had a good outing today - basically it's 200/3 in 30 overs because of the 2 dummy hand up front.

tbh I was 100% sure he was getting out in the 80's, too much pressure when it comes to getting to the maiden hundred. Until then he was as "cool as a cucumber"

Well played Babar Azam... Century would have been great but really impressive innings

Though he is out now..... See the trigger movement, spot on at loading and then ready and in balance on delivery. Milne bowled some quick deliveries at him. He put a few over his head with ease.

Stage set for both of these run accumulators who should be playing as opener or maximum upto no. 5., to now fail so that pakistans favourite sons position can be further strengthened.

Baz is the best captain in the world. That aggressive captaincy gave him the biggest wicket.

Rizo has to perform today otherwise can't see him being selected for next series

There is just no scope for any risk now

These two need to bat till 45th over, I dont care about RR atm

Good bowlers are still bowling well... Milne, Boult, Henry...NZ has being let down by battery of allrounders... So not as bad as you might think

If these two had any sense they would look to just work ball around here for rest of inns and we wud still get 300!

In dono kou hyper-tiika laga hua hai. Calm down, do not get run out here.

The Dmitri Mascarenhas interview illustrates why the NZ bowlers failed at Brisbane and Perth.

Their three recent fast bowling coaches have been Allan Donald, Shane Bond.....and him.

Would you expect him to have the experience to advise his quicks how to adapt to a bouncy but slow and grassless Aussie track? Clearly not.

Just wanted Babar Azam to get his maiden century - was desperately waiting for it.

Nonetheless, it was a very good innings by him.

I don't think there is much of panic yet. Today, what PAK has done is what I call a head start.

I give 2 proposition 170/3 after 35 overs or 233/5 after 35 - any team 'll take the 2nd one; because the runs are there.

NOW, it depends on how smart this pair is, which Babar wasn't. These 2 can maintain 4.5 in next 8 overs & take the score to 270/5 with 7 overs to go & then the hitting power of the 3 bowlers come it to equation.

I actually think PAK is in better situation than usual PAK, though Babar's dismissal was silly - that could have won the match. RR is 6.6, which Sarfraz & Rizwan can pull down to 6, after 45 & still PAK can reach 325.

You like it or not but the fact is rizwan don't belong to this level, has to many flaws to be honest. Pretty Averaga vs quality pace and don't have to say about his pedigree vs spin. And sarfraz is on borrowed time to,
