actually not there was confusion because that day they also added the runs Sanga score for ICC 11 games so Sanath was still ahread talking about matches for sri lanka otherwise overall that day Sanga passed it

Not good, he is a good opening bowler, but he bowls at the death and gets smashed. He should never bowl at the death. He should end bowling by 35th over. When batsmen starts attacking he is done.
 
This is like the last WC, Mahela, Dilshan, Sanga batting well and everyone else flopping like craps

yea his death bowling is as bad as neighbors but his new ball skills were worth his place in team if captain had extra choices for the death overs

I don't know how he travel around the world so much is the board or any company sponsoring him like they do to that Pakistani chacha cricket or is that guy really rich i see him everywhere on sri lankan tours.

You are right, Lakmal is a good death bowler, we need Maling and Lakmal at the death along with Kule and Prasad. Can't have Perera.

Dilshan alone in this series has scored more runs than all the other "batsmen" combined (excluding mahela and sanga)

They are not corrupt in terms of money. Something like 80% of the SLC income goes to the SL players, which is ridiculous. For players like Sanga, Mahela, Dilshan and Malinga it doesn't matter, because they have TV ads to make money out of than this $120,000 salary from SLC. Also, I dont think you need to pay taxes in SL, it is recommended that you pay tax but you don't have to if you don't want to. SLC screws over the younger guys, ground staff and drive around with free gas of SLC, use free laptops, dongles and suck up to anyone politician's and include them in the line up. The biggest corrupt is Ranathunga's brother Nishantha Ranatunga.

$120,000 annually? thats much more than what is paid to player in category A of central contracts of PCB

You have to be amazingly talented to have a FC record of 55, play international matches, score 100s and still bat like a total moron. If i had his talent, I think i would have been somewhere else.

Chandimal with all his talent is averaging 28 in odis with a strike rate of 74 :facepalm: . Those are worse than freaking Younis Khan's numbers...

He played really well at no.3. He is a fawad alam/trott type of player. Since they put him down at no.7 he lost it.

There were lot of retarded bowling by SL. Major pounding by NZ batsmen. Sanga scored couple of 70s-80s, Dilshan has 2 50s and a century, Mahela has a century and a 94 and Thirimanne has a 50, every other batsmen sucked like hell. Williamson has been batting like Sachin. Every other batsmen took their turn pounding SL bowlers.
 
Somebody get this Perera guy out before he does something to impress the damn selectors. NZ save US !!!!!!!!

He has played majority of his matches at no.4, averaging 33 at strike rate of 73. His strike rate is very poor in all positions.

He is a better hitter but his Loi stats sucks big time but he plays Test like Odis though. Probably Kusal is a better hitter along with Tharanga and get rid of Perera for Prasad

I think SL need an inform perera going into the WC. 1 good bits and piece player who can do power hitting is enough. No need for the rest like Jeevan and sekuge.
 
Perera has scored 18 runs, that is more than his career average :))) . Thivagar's worst nightmare coming true, perera will play every match in the world cup.
