During pitch report, they were saying, it's a good batting surface. Utterly awful batting by Matthews :shafiq

I don't know why people were under-estimating NZ. They are the form side atm - beat both Eng and SA away.

But still they are the Ferrer's of cricket my favorite tennis player...

If he made an attempt to get back he may have made it back

Re: New Zealand v Sri Lanka | ICC Champions Trophy | 09/06/13 | First Innings

Thirimanne, Watson and du Plessis are involved in way too many run outs.

I think it's on his shoulders now but i guess Perera can contribute too...

I think NZ looks better now because everybody is contributing in the otherwise before it was only 2 or 3 guys duty to always perform they realized it...

Sanga playing a Misbah innings here.

Sri lanka should target 200 at least to give themselves some short of chance

Re: New Zealand v Sri Lanka | ICC Champions Trophy | 09/06/13 | First Innings

The runout has woken him a little.

Also what's with Southees follow through. He is falling away too much.

Is this the same strip where Ind and SA played or is this a New one? Because this doesn't look easy at all.

Can't believe there's so many empty seats

Yea the only difference is that he got Perera at other end who can at least bat...So both will contribute...

Perera was saved by DRS a short while ago and I think Riaz would have given Misbah good support if he was more careful backing up the other day.

I think that was meant to go in another thread... anyways great news for us and specially Mohammad Hafeez! :108:

If we can't beat SA without Morkel and Steyn we really don't deserve to og to semis.

Yea riaz was unlucky there...

Said it before, the kiwis are are pretty good ODI unit, with series wins in SA and England. They're the only ones who seem to be pretty consistent these days.

MTE whom you want in tomoros match shafik or amin

I would prefer Amin over Farhat i think Shafiq and Malik should play because we don't have replacements for them in the squad of 15 so we can't drop them. But if we talk about our captain mentality i am sure he will go with same 11

Sanga now has more than 11000 runs in the ODIs. There is a real chance that he might end up as the third highest run getter in both formats of the game. Easily the best from Lanka.

McClenaghan again has been impressive, was the pick of the bowlers against the Proteas and England. Good to see him performing well, why no one post in my famous thread

:out :out :out :AAG

McClenaghan :asif

Sanga should do it he really deserve it.

Nathan Mcculum averaging 49.27 with the bowl, if he is playing as the allrounder, why is Franklin in the side just as batsman? Isn't Elliot better than Franklin

I know Franklin played a few match winning knocks but Elliot is more consistent. Oh boy if Ryder comes back what a team it will be

WOW NZ won only 1 match out of last 14 ODI's between SL & NZ.

3rd 4 wicket haul for McClenaghan in 8 ODI's looks good!

WOW what a bowling effort by NZ

As i have predicted NZ and Eng will go to the next round :butt

why am i always right? :amir
