If its same XI , its better if Hafeez and Sarfaraz swap positions in batting order.

As of now, Hafeez and Malik are not looking good to manage the pressure of remaining 35 overs if they come to bat within first 15 overs. Something Haris and Babar are good at.

I dont understand why people want Azhar to be dropped? Boult is swinging the ball at pace, the only opener who could stand his ground against his bowling is Azhar.

NZ time zone always confuses me... the match thread says match on 9th Jan and we are in the afternoon of 8th Jan so I thought the match is tomorrow but in reality the match starts in 1.5 hours.

Yes he failed in the first ODI but to suggest he's not a good ODI is not fair on him, check his average and we have to select according to conditions. Can you name a better opener in Paksitan to face a swinging Boult and Southee in NZ?

We haven't tried any apart from the same old Shehzads, Jamsheds and Akmals.

Besides my major beef is with Hafeez than Azhar. After getting banned from bowling their is no reason why he should be chosen over a new young player in the middle order. Hafeez's experience does not amount to much when the going gets tough.

Why not open with Faheem and play Yamin as a lower oder hitter? Babar wont be able to bring much dimension.
