Pitch and conditions

The forecast for Friday is sunny in Dunedin, with a high of 21 C.

First over and the keeper is standing up & now he has hurt his thumb

He was.

On current form it's probably McCullum or Ryder.

As we all know Ryder might as well be a serial killer according to NZ management, good luck on him ever playing again. Such a waste of talent

We just can't win a toss :))

Always sent in on green wickets, hopefully we can get the same movement in the second innings.

I have never seen an opening spell from Southee or Boult where they didn't swing the ball.

Damn, I honestly doubt any of our pacers can swing the ball the way the Sri Lankans are, except maybe for Ehsan Adil, and on a good day, Junaid Khan. Irfan might swing a few deliveries upfront but his strength is bounce more than swing and Wahab's is pace...

It's just sad to see 120k bowlers opening the bowling and keeper up to the stump in the 1st over of the match...

That 120k bowler has already picked up 2 wkts. With all your 150k bowlers, you still need to tamper with the ball to pick up wkts and yet to win a WC knockout game :)))

says the fan of a team that just got thrashed against NZ.

So what ? We've won 2 WC's with our 120k trundlers. But you haven't done jack with your 150k bolwers in a global tournament. :)) And those 150k bowlers still need the assistance of ball tamperers to pick up wkts.

Please also let us know how many series you have won in SA/ Australia? Even with your whinging captains and chucking brigade

Who cares about the bilateral tournaments. BTW, we've won an ODI series in AUS. How many WC's have you won ?? :))

Thiri is firing those 100k thunderbolts at Hobbits. And nobody is attacking him

:)))

Quality of batsman is being exposed on this pitch. In the 70s, 80s, 90s and early 00s, batsman could score 100s on these sort of pitches.

If Dimuth fails. Should put Chandimal in opening. Need to resort to creative ways like 1996 world cup win. Anyone knows anything about Malinga?

He's well on track to play in the WC. He's now bowling in the nets.

Ronchi is that clutch player NZ needed! love the way he handle pressure situations after collapses and it's amazing to see how he finds boundary with ease by finding gaps
