Is there any new Pakistani music? Anything that isn't OSTs, Coke Studio or Bollywood songs with Pakistani singers. I'm sure there's gotta be some out there.

Been browsing youtube for newer Pakistani music yet every thing I get are slow sappy love songs, classical styled music or bollywood style dance songs. Desi music really doesn't compare to Arabic or Spanish music, I'd liked to be proven wrong though.

Strings released their new album, 30, which is fantastic. Sajni, Urr Jaon, Piya Re, and Mil Gaya are all great.
Pepsi Battle of the Bands has brought some good new bands into the limelight. Listen to Kaghaz ka Jahaaz by Kashmir and Hum Nadaan by Bayaan.
Overall, I do agree there’s not much Pakistani music being generated but I feel we’ve begun doing some good work again after a dark decade or so. Let me know if you have any songs to recommend yourself!
