I am travelling to Pakistan in April with my young child. Does she require a NICOP or has this now been abolished as announced last year?

I think I had a similar dilemma, a few months ago when I decided to visit Pakistan after a lengthy gap. During my absence my NICOP had expired and there was no time to get a new one issued before my flight. I was a little worried if that would be a problem but it turns out if you have a Pak passport you should be fine :-).

What if your Pak passport has expired?

Sorry, travelling from the UK. I am a british citizen I have a NICOP card but I wanted to know if I needed to make one for my child.

Correct, I believe as British Citizens, you would both require a Visa/NICOP.

I am assuming that your child is a British citizen, too.

As a British he would require a Visa.

As a foreign born Pakistani, who do not posses Pakistani Passport nor Visa would require NICOP.

You can't enter into Pakistan as a foreigner without either one of them.

Surely you can get a ten years NICOP to avoid visa.
