The Scientist and not the car company.
There seems to be a huge myth and folklore surrounding this guy.I acknowledge his contributions to electricity and magnetism and is perhaps among the greatest minds of 19th-20th century which is saying a lot considering the competition.
But the internet crowd has made him as some sort of super human being and a sort of cult has developed which exaggerates his achievements and kinda try to portray him as some sort of tragic hero who didn't get his due while he lived.
How much of truth is there in that? Was he really that brilliant or is it just another of those internet conspiracy theories with no basis whatsoever and propagated by idiots who can't even spell science properly?

No he really was a unique mind. Obviously the internet has over-hyped him due to his rivalry with Edison and how Edison used his influence to get greater prominence for his "inventions".

Tesla wasn't just a brilliant mind in the field of electricity. Search Tesla Turbine. Tesla shahab produced a turbine engine all the way back in 1913. If that isn't brilliant I don't know what is. Search Tesla Valve. A unique kind of check valve with no moving parts (check valve is kind of valve which allows flow in one direction but stops flow from opposite direction)

No one is disputing his greatness.He was an exceptional scientist but so were many others.
If we go by internet nerds , they would tell you he was the greatest mind ever lived who designed the prototype of a Time machine and was probably from another galaxy.
The movie prestige didn't help matters either.
