[VIDEOS] Andrew Tate and brother Tristan to be tried in Romania on rape and trafficking charges [Update on post #1294]

I am not sold on him but he handles the legacy media as well as anyone I have seen. He is incredibly intelligent and as soon as one group thinks they have him as a supporter, he turns around and slaps them. The best example of this is the Right wing in America, they loved his takedown of the woke guys that promoted feminism etc but he then turns around and slaps Israel, a country the right in America love more than their own mothers.

If he returns to the UK is there any chance he could be seized by the authorities and locked up?
For what? The cases seem more of a wish than anything illegal. I maybe wrong and his earnings from something that can't be seen anything other than immoral but illegal?

Which means the interview about Israel - Palestine is just another ploy and he is going to slap you next.

i dont dislike the guy, i find him entertaining, i just think the amount of relevance that is given to him both by those who hate him and worship him is astounding.

hes essentially the "cool kid" at school, whatever hes good at, that's the most important thing in the world, whatever hes not good at, that's geeky brokie behaviour.

the idea that he is some new age leader against the economic system is a joke, hes literally the embodiment of the consumerist free market ideal. his entire persona is validated by his material belongings.

i think the polarised reactions towards him are an indictment that both men and women in western society lack father figures, men worship him as some sort of warrior philosopher their dad should have been, and the women hate him because they've never had a male figure of authority in their lives.

Andrew Tate wins legal challenge over seized assets

Controversial influencer Andrew Tate has won an appeal in a Romanian court as he seeks the return of assets which have been seized by authorities.

Mr Tate is being investigated in the country over allegations of human trafficking and rape, which he denies.

On Monday, Bucharest's Court of Appeal ordered a new trial over the held assets, which includes luxury cars.

Mr Tate's brother Tristan and two associated companies were also parties to the successful appeal.

The brothers appealed a December 2023 court ruling which upheld the legality of the seizure of their assets.

A ruling handed down by a higher court on Monday said it overturned the earlier ruling and referred it for a retrial.

The decision means the Tate brothers will be able to return to court and mount a new legal effort to reclaim their seized assets.

Two companies, SC Ground Breaking Development SRL and The Cannon Run Limited, were listed alongside the Tate brothers as parties in the appeal.

In a post on his official Twitter account, Andrew Tate said a court will now have to demonstrate the wealth was acquired illegally in order to justify the ongoing seizure, adding: "They won't prove a thing because it never happened."

Court documents released in June indicated the brothers had amassed millions of euros and acquired expensive assets and properties via their business activities, which included adult content and online self-help courses.

Both Tate brothers deny charges levelled by Romanian investigators that they exploited women via their adult content business, which prosecutors allege operated as a criminal group.

Two female Romanian associates were also named alongside the British-American brothers in an indictment published in June, and seven alleged victims were identified.

The brothers were first arrested in December 2022 and spent time in prison before being place under house arrest. While they are no long under detention, the brothers are prohibited from leaving Romania while the investigation progresses.

In January 2023, expensive cars were seen being removed from a property associated with the Tates near Bucharest. Watches worth millions of euros were also confiscated during the raids.

They should drop all cases against Tate since they couldn't convict him. Why harass him like this?

If evidences are strong, what's taking so long?

Controversial influencer Tate has become notorious for his misogynistic remarks over recent years. Tate and his brother Tristan are currently awaiting trial after accusations of forming a criminal gang to exploit women. They both deny the allegations.

Now, new data has revealed that men and boys from generation Z are more likely than older generations to believe that feminism has led to more harm than good.

The polling also found that one in five males in the UK aged from aged 16 to 29 look favourably on Tate.
More than 3,600 people were polled as part of the new research from Ipsos polling for King’s College London’s Policy Institute and the Global Institute for Women’s Leadership [via The Guardian].

Prof Bobby Duffy is director of the Policy Institute. He said of the new findings: “This is a new and unusual generational pattern. Normally, it tends to be the case that younger generations are consistently more comfortable with emerging social norms, as they grew up with these as a natural part of their lives.”

While the majority of younger men think feminism has done more good than harm and don’t agree with Tate’s views, Duffy said: “There is a consistent minority of between one-fifth and one-third who hold the opposite view. This points to a real risk of fractious division among this coming generation.”

Prof Rosie Campbell, who is director of the Global Institute for Women’s Leadership at King’s, said: “The fact that this group is the first to derive most of their information from social media is likely to be at least part of the explanation.

“There has been a zeitgeist where young women feel they can own the idea of feminist identity … [Young men] hear a lot about girl power but don’t, at this stage in their lives, understand the inequalities that we know are in the world when you hit work and childcare.”

Tate in trouble
=====
Controversial influencer Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan have appeared in a Romanian court after the UK issued warrants for their arrest.

The internet personalities were detained by Romanian police on Monday night on arrest warrants over alleged sexual offences in Britain.

Bucharest's Court of Appeal postponed a decision on the warrant.

Andrew Tate, 37, and Tristan, 35, "categorically reject all charges", their representative said.

The men remain in custody.

Romanian Police said two arrest warrants were issued by British authorities for exploiting people in the UK.

A representative for the Tate brothers before the hearing described the arrest warrant as a "bewildering revival of decade-old accusations" leaving the brothers "dismayed and deeply troubled".

"They categorically reject all charges and express profound disappointment that such serious allegations are being resurrected without substantial new evidence," the statement said.

"They are fully committed to challenging these accusations with unwavering determination and resolve."

Their representatives claim the allegations cover 2012 to 2015.

Andrew, wearing a black hoodie, and Tristan arrived at court in handcuffs escorted by police.

They did not say anything to the gathered press, but as they were leaving court Andrew smiled when asked if he is ready to go back home.

Following the hearing, the brothers' lawyer Eugen Vidineac told reporters he knew little information regarding the warrant and did not know if new evidence was provided by the authorities.

In December, the Tate brothers, who are dual UK-US nationals, were ordered by a Romanian court not to leave Romania after the brothers made a request to visit their mother in hospital in the UK.

The brothers are being investigated by Romanian authorities over separate allegations of rape, human trafficking and forming a criminal gang - charges they deny.

They are accused of exploiting women via an adult content business, which prosecutors allege operated as a criminal group.

Two female Romanian associates were also named alongside the brothers in an indictment published in June, and seven alleged victims were identified.

Mr Tate has repeatedly claimed Romanian prosecutors have no evidence against him and there is a conspiracy to silence him.

He is a self-described misogynist and was previously banned from social media platforms for expressing misogynistic views.

Andrew Tate and brother Tristan to be tried in Romania on rape and trafficking charges

Andrew Tate is a self-described misogynist who says there is a conspiracy to silence him
The trial of controversial influencer Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan is to go ahead, a court in Romania says.

No date has been set by the court which has been reviewing prosecutors' evidence and the pair have appealed.

Andrew Tate, 37, and Tristan, 35, were arrested last December over allegations of rape, human trafficking and forming a criminal gang - charges they deny.

The internet personalities are also wanted in the UK over sexual offences allegedly committed there.

The Tate brothers, who are dual UK-US nationals, are accused of exploiting women via an adult content business, which prosecutors allege operated as a criminal group.

Two female Romanian associates were also named alongside the brothers in an indictment published in June last year, and seven alleged victims were identified.

Andrew Tate is a self-described misogynist and was previously banned from social media platforms for expressing misogynistic views.

He has repeatedly claimed Romanian prosecutors have no evidence against him and there is a conspiracy to silence him.

The case had been discussed for months in a process before a preliminary chamber where the accused could challenge the evidence of the prosecutors.

On Friday, the court in Bucharest said the case met the legal criteria and would proceed.

The brothers' lead counsel, Eugen Vidineac, said the ruling "lacks legal basis and reasoning".

"We have filed a strong appeal as we believe the ruling to be unlawful."

Andrew Tate served with civil proceedings papers on behalf of four British women

Andrew Tate has been served with civil proceedings papers in Romania on behalf of four British women, their lawyers have said.

Lawyers on behalf of the four alleged victims have said they are bringing a case against the social media influencer at the High Court in the UK after the Crown Prosecution Service decided not to prosecute in 2019.

The four women allege Tate raped and assaulted them and are seeking "damages for injuries they suffered as a result".

Tate, 37, is accused alongside his brother Tristan Tate.

A representative for the Tate brothers said they "unequivocally deny all allegations", and are "fully committed to challenging these accusations with unwavering determination and resolve".

Three of the British accusers were the subject of an investigation by Hertfordshire Constabulary.

The Hertfordshire investigation was closed in 2019.

In a statement, McCue Jury and Partners, the law firm representing the four women, said: "Three of the women bringing the civil action reported that Tate had raped and physically assaulted them to the UK police in 2014/2015.

"After a four-year investigation, Hertfordshire Police sent the case to the CPS for a charging decision. In 2019, the CPS decided not to prosecute.

"Despite additional evidence, the CPS have declined the women's recent requests to review its decision."

Romanian court eases travel restrictions on influencer Andrew Tate

A Romanian court ruled on Friday that Internet personality Andrew Tate can travel within the European Union without restrictions while he awaits trial on human trafficking charges, his lawyer said.

Tate was indicted in mid-2023 along with his brother, Tristan, and two Romanian women on charges of human trafficking, rape and forming a criminal gang to sexually exploit women, accusations they have denied.

In April this year, the Bucharest court ruled their trial can start, a decision Tate has appealed.

Pending a ruling on his appeal, the four suspects had been banned from leaving Romania, but Friday’s court decision lifted the restriction for the European Union.

“My judges decided ... I’m allowed to leave Romania, so do we take the (Ferrari) SF90 to Italy, the (Maserati) MC20 to Cannes, the (Ferrari) 812 Competition to Paris, where do I go?” Tate said in a video posted on social media platform X.

The Tate brothers, both former kickboxers with dual US and British citizenship, are the highest-profile suspects facing trial for human trafficking in Romania and their case will be a test for Romania’s anti-organized crime prosecuting unit DIICOT.

The brothers were held in police custody during the criminal investigation from late December 2022 until April 2023 to prevent them from fleeing the country or tampering with evidence.

They were then placed under house arrest until August, when courts put them under judicial control, a lighter preventative measure.

“Andrew and Tristan are still determined to clear their name and reputation; however, they are grateful to the courts for placing this trust in them,” the brothers’ lead defense lawyer Eugen Vidineac said in a statement.

Romanian prosecutors have said the Tate brothers recruited their victims by seducing them and falsely claiming to want a relationship or marriage.

They said the victims were then taken to properties outside the capital Bucharest, and through physical violence and mental intimidation were sexually exploited by being forced to produce pornographic content for social media sites that generated large financial gain.

Tate, a self-described misogynist, has gained millions of fans by promoting an ultra-masculine lifestyle that critics say denigrates women.

He just exposed himself big time.

I called out his reversion at the time. This guy wants to increase his customer Base, and very cleverly positioned himself as a Muslim, his brother then positioned himself as a Christian. Great businessman but made complete monkeys out of people that fall for it.
Including a few here...

He's still claiming he is a Muslim though.

is he still relevant? thought he had his 15 mins already
He remains a misguided idol for countless naive yobs, who are wasting their potential chasing the empty dreams and bravado he promotes. By the time they realize they've squandered their time, it'll be too late, and they'll find themselves stuck in dead-end night shifts at taxi ranks or takeaways. It's infuriating to watch these fools remain oblivious; hopefully, they wake up before it's too late.

Anyone following this fool?

On top of disgusting posts about right wing riots, where he compared genocide victims in Gaza to the right wing mobs, he is now openly calling back people n**gers on Twitter.

Loved how he fooled so many with his 'conversion'. No Muslim, infact was a master move to gain lot of gullible foolish people as followers as our people like nothing than Western converts.

Andrew Tate's Romania homes raided as inquiry widens

Romanian police have searched the houses of controversial influencer Andrew Tate as part of an investigation into new allegations against him.

The internet personality was already awaiting trial for rape and human trafficking, but could potentially now face additional charges of sex with, and trafficking in, underage persons, as well as money-laundering and attempting to influence witnesses, prosecutors say.

Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan, who have a massive following on social media, have denied all previous charges against them.

They were first detained in Romania in December 2022, then released from house arrest in August 2023.

According to a statement from DIICOT, the special prosecution service of the Romanian Organised Crime Directorate, four houses were searched on Wednesday morning in the capital, Bucharest, and in Ilfov county.

The BBC understands that this investigation relates to Andrew Tate and that these investigations have been going on for some time.

In an apparent response to the raid, the influencer posted on X (formerly Twitter): "The Matrix is real. And they have a tried and true playbook.

"Slander is their number one tool and the process is the punishment. But unfortunately for them, Good always wins in the end."

Andrew Tate is a self-described misogynist and was previously banned from social media platforms for expressing misogynistic views.

He has repeatedly claimed Romanian prosecutors have no evidence against him and there is a conspiracy to silence him.

Two female Romanian associates were also named alongside the brothers in an indictment published in June last year, and seven alleged victims were identified.

The internet personalities are also wanted in the UK in connection with separate and unrelated sexual offences allegedly committed there.

Andrew Tate under house arrest over fresh allegations after home raided

Andrew Tate has been placed under house arrest in Romania.

Prosecutors in Romania have requested Tate be detained for 30 more days, while his brother Tristan has been placed under lighter restrictions by the country's authorities.

It comes after Tate and Tristan were among six people taken into custody in an investigation into human trafficking and sexual exploitation.

The divisive influencer's home was raided this week over new allegations made against him.

‘Tate raped and strangled us’ - women talk to BBC

Two women who say they were raped and strangled by the controversial social media influencer, Andrew Tate, have spoken to the BBC about their experiences.

Another woman has alleged, for the first time, she was raped by Mr Tate’s younger brother, Tristan - also an influencer with millions of followers.

The Tate brothers, aged 37 and 36, currently face charges in Romania of human trafficking and forming an organised group to sexually exploit women. Andrew Tate is also charged with rape.

If found guilty, the two men could be jailed for more than 10 years. They strongly deny the charges against them.

Andrew Tate is currently under house arrest in Romania. In addition to the charges he already faces, prosecutors are considering new allegations against him, including having sex with a minor and trafficking underage persons. Both brothers are also being investigated for trafficking 34 more women.

Now, two British women not involved with the Romanian case against the Tate brothers, have given detailed first-hand accounts to the BBC, against Andrew Tate, of alleged rape and sexual violence. The allegations date back at least 10 years, to when Mr Tate was living in Luton.

Another British woman has made a new allegation of rape against Tristan Tate, saying he put his put his hands around her throat as he did so.

Anna (not her real name) told us she went out with Andrew Tate in Luton in 2013. After a few dates, she says she went back to his house.

Anna says he also tried to pass the strangulation episode off as a joke: “Are you seriously so offended I strangled you a little bit?”

When the BBC asked him about the messages, Mr Tate declined to comment.

In 2014, Anna told Bedfordshire Police about the alleged attack. Two other women made similar allegations, and a police investigation started.

In 2019, a file was sent to the Crown Prosecution Service, but it was decided there was not enough evidence to bring charges.

Another woman, who we are calling Sienna, describes a similar story.

She says she first met Andrew Tate a decade ago in Luton: “We got on really well and we had a few drinks.”

She says they had what she describes as “a standard one-night stand”.

A few months later, Sienna says she met Mr Tate again.

She claims that on this occasion he attacked her.

“We went to my bedroom... and we started having sex,” she says. “That was when he put his hands around my throat.”

Sienna says she struggled for air, and then lost consciousness. When she came to, she says he was still having sex with her.

“I was absolutely terrified,” she says. “I just remember gasping for air... It was rape.”

In the morning, she says she had a bloodshot eye.

“One of the whites of my eyes had just gone completely red - apparently it's quite common in domestic abuse cases where there's been strangulation.”

A friend of Sienna has confirmed to the BBC that she told him about the incident at the time. He also says he saw her eye injury.

Sienna didn’t go to the police and says she regrets it.

BBC Panorama is aware of a total of five women in the UK who say they were strangled by Mr Tate during sex.

When we interviewed him in June last year, he denied ever having strangled or having had sex with a woman without her consent.

“I know I've never hurt anybody. It's not in my nature to hurt people,” he said.

In the second half of the last decade, Andrew Tate began his rise to online fame.

The self-proclaimed misogynist’s videos on YouTube and TikTok, and posts on Twitter, gained him millions of followers and a worldwide profile.

He preached a message aimed at boys and young men that women should be dominated.

In one video, he said women were “intrinsically lazy” and added: “There’s no way you can be rooted in reality and not be sexist.”

Mr Tate has been singled out by authorities in the UK for the effect he has had in spreading misogyny online.

His videos also showed off the high-rolling lifestyle he claimed to lead in Romania.

Andrew and Tristan Tate are thought to have moved to the country around 2016.

They had been running a webcamming business in Luton - where women chat and strip online for money.

Romania has one of the largest webcam industries in the world, with over half a million employees in the sector. The brothers’ move there apparently saw the business taking off.

At one point, Andrew Tate claimed he was making £400,000 per month from webcamming and that “75 women worked for him at the peak of it all”.

However, when he spoke to the BBC last year, he downplayed these boasts, claiming they had been exaggerations and lies.

The adult entertainment business is central to the criminal case brought against them in Romania.

Prosecutors allege the brothers were trafficking women into the country - in other words, recruiting them, arranging their transport and providing accommodation in Bucharest for the purpose of exploitation. Two of the women named in the case file were brought to Romania from the UK.

Another British woman, not involved in any of the legal proceedings, told Panorama about her experience of working for the Tates. It is the first time she has spoken publicly.

Daisy (not her real name) says that in 2017 she had been dating Tristan Tate in the UK, when he encouraged her to work for the brothers' webcam business in Bucharest. We have seen evidence that Tristan booked her flight to Bucharest.

Daisy went of her own accord, knowing and agreeing to be involved in the webcamming business. She describes a controlling environment where she and other webcammers lived and worked together.

“The girls had their own rooms, but it wasn't their personal space. Everything was Tristan's and Andrew's, the bedrooms that the girls worked in were also the bedrooms that the brothers would sleep in.”

There were strict rules for all the women, says Daisy with almost every aspect of their lives monitored.

This description is echoed by a Romanian webcam model, who has also spoken to us.

“Raluca” says she was on the Tates’ books in 2021. She claims that “control and manipulation” played a primary role in their business model.

Most of the models working for the Tates “were dating them”, according to Raluca. She adds that some of them were women brought over from the UK.

The Romanian prosecutors say they have statements from three women who describe feeling “controlled” by the brothers. In the case file, some of the women say they were not allowed to leave the house “on their own”.

When Andrew Tate spoke to the BBC last year, he denied such allegations and claimed the women worked for themselves. He said that his role was simply to "help them find a cameraman”.

A few days after arriving in Romania, Daisy says she broke up with Tristan Tate, but she claims it did not stop him trying to have sex with her.

“I told him, ‘no’ 10 to 15 times that I didn’t want to.”

He put his hands around her throat and raped her, she says.

Daisy has not reported her allegation to police.

The BBC has spoken to one of her friends who says that after Daisy returned to the UK she was upset and told him that Tristan Tate had been forceful with her sexually.

We asked Tristan Tate about all the allegations against him - he did not comment.

The Tates’ legal troubles have deepened this year.

As well as the existing charges in Romania, and the new investigation announced last month, they face a number of legal threats elsewhere.

In the UK, Bedfordshire Police have begun extradition proceedings against both brothers on allegations of rape and human trafficking, dating back to 2012-2015. None of these are connected to the women we spoke to.

And in a civil case brought by Devon and Cornwall Police, a magistrate is expected to rule next month on whether the Tates owe millions in unpaid tax on their online businesses.

Sienna and Anna are now suing Andrew Tate, and their case is due to be heard in the High Court in London. Along with two other women, they accuse him of rape and sexual assault. He intends to contest the claims.

We asked Mr Tate about all the latest allegations - he has declined to comment.

Last year he told us: “I look forward to the truth coming out. I look forward to the truth being blasted all over the BBC that Andrew Tate was found not guilty because I've never done anything wrong.”

What I think is happening right now is that the girls were used for the cam “modelling” then thrown out when they weren’t needed anymore.

They probably weren’t raped, just upset that they won’t have any kids with 2 rich men so now they’re getting back at them.

Still a shame that so many allegations seem to be pinned on him
Seems very much like the Benjamin mendy case

Hackers breach Andrew Tate’s online ‘university’ website, steal user names and chat logs

The website for controversial social media influencer Andrew Tate’s self-help site “The Real World” was reportedly hacked this week.

The hackers were able to extract a trove of data from Tate’s site – formerly known as Hustler’s University – that included approximately 794,000 user names, 324,382 unique email addresses and both public and private chat logs, according to the Daily Dot, which received copies of the data.

The breach was reportedly revealed on Thursday in the middle of Tate’s broadcast of his show “Emergency Meeting” on Rumble, when the hackers began flooding the website’s public chatroom with emojis.

“The emojis included a transgender flag, a feminist fist, an AI-generated image of Tate draped in a rainbow flag, another where his buttocks are enlarged, and the cat character used in the “boykisser” meme,” according to the Daily Dot.

It’s unclear who is responsible for the breach, but the hackers told the outlet that their motive was “hacktivism” and said that Tate’s website was “hilariously insecure.”

The hackers said they provided data obtained in the breach to a pair of websites – HaveIBeenPwned, which allows users to track when their personal information has been exposed, and DDoSecets, which publishes hacked documents that are thought to be in the public’s interest.

Memberships for “The Real World” program start at $50 per month.

Tate bills the site as the “world’s most advanced financial education platform” and claims, “making money is a skill. We will teach you how to master it.”

The program purportedly includes lessons on e-commerce, copywriting, crypto and stock investments and physical fitness, according to the website.

The incident occurred months after a separate breach that exposed 22 million messages from “Real World” members, according to Cybernews.

Tate, 37, is a former reality TV star and kickboxer who has faced intense scrutiny for expressing misogynistic views online.

He has been banned by multiple social media platforms for violating policies against hate speech.

Tate is facing trial on allegations of human trafficking in Romania. He was placed under house arrest in August.

Police can seize more than £2m from Tate brothers, court rules

Police can seize more than £2m from Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan after they failed to pay tax on £21m of revenue from their online businesses, a court has ruled.

Devon and Cornwall Police had sought to seize the funds, held in seven frozen bank accounts, from the brothers and a third person, referred to as J.

The chief magistrate at Westminster Magistrates' Court said what appeared to be a "complex financial matrix" was actually a "straightforward cheat of the revenue".

Romania case against Tate brothers sent back by court

A case against controversial influencers Andrew and Tristan Tate over allegations including human trafficking cannot proceed to trial in its current form, a court in Romania has ruled.

On Thursday, the Court of Appeals in Bucharest upheld a challenge from the brothers, sending the case back to prosecutors for further review.

It is the second time the court has returned the case to prosecutors who now have five days to amend the indictment or drop the charges.

The Tate brothers, aged 37 and 36, are accused of human trafficking and forming an organised group to sexually exploit women. They have strongly denied the charges.

In November, the same court found "irregularities" in the indictment against them, requiring prosecutors to amend their brief.

At the time, the court also removed several pieces of evidence, deeming some statements from alleged victims inadmissible.

The brothers' successful appeal on Thursday marks another setback for prosecutors.

The dual UK-US nationals are accused of exploiting women via an adult content business, which prosecutors say operated as a criminal enterprise.

Two female Romanian associates were also named in the indictment published in June last year, which identified seven alleged victims.

Andrew Tate is a self-described misogynist and was previously banned from social media platforms for expressing such views.

The former kickboxer has gained millions of followers on social media for his politics, where in videos he's has also often showcased a flashy lifestyle.

He has been living in Romania for a number of years after previously being based in the UK.

Following the ruling in his favour on Thursday he released a statement saying: "They've had years to build their case - years to tear apart my life, target everyone I know, and even subpoena the mother of my child. And yet, they have nothing."

He added: "This is all a lie, and I will fight to the very end to expose it and prove my innocence."

His brother Tristan said: "If there isn't enough evidence to go to trial after all of these years, that means there never was enough evidence."

Romania's public prosecutor's office, known as DIICOT, was yet to comment on the ruling.

In August, it said it had begun a second criminal investigation against the Tate brothers over new allegations of trafficking of minors, sexual intercourse with a minor and money laundering.

UK police are also seeking the extradition of the Tate brothers in relation to allegations of rape and human trafficking. They have also been accused of tax evasion.

The Tate brothers have denied those allegations.
