I don't understand you people, after the recent insane level of security and even reports by independent security officials its blindingly obvious to anyone that some games atleast can be held in Pakistan. It doesn't have to be a tour just 3-4 games.

If it was the other way around I'd be furious with the PCB for not going to BD and helping them. I would not sit here defending them. If my team going to Dhaka could help your country resume some level of cricket I'd support it every level of the way. Yet here you are, a BD version of cricketjoshila who blindly defends BCCI, you blindly defend your board.

Personally I would suggest BD to tour Pakistan if possible. Our players like Shakib Tamim said they would not mind touring Pakistan. All this ofcourse is considering that security is Good.

However BCB has every right to cancel a tour for safety of team management and BCB officials who are to accompany the boys. That's why BCB have been circumspect.

BCB even sent BD women's team to Pakistan. Even wanted to send Youth Team to Pakistan.

BCB are trying to help Pakistan but at their own pace.

It's okay for other boards to not tour Pakistan at all but when BD don't want to tour we are labelled as traitors, our board asked for compensation and PCB threatening to pull out their players from PSL.

I am fine if PCB messes with us but it would be great to see PCB take similar stance against all other teams. But we know that won't happen.

Issue is PCB is trying to force the matter. You can't force these things.

And believe me if our security officials feels the security protocols are pitch perfect, I will be angry at BCB for not sending the team to Pakistan. Yes that's my point of view.

We can't host you in UAE as BD team is not a viable economic option in that part of the globe and if you want Pak to come to Bangladesh, then you need to give up more revenue. You are so misinformed.

1) In UAE, the population of Bangladeshis is signficant. Lots of BDeshis have migrated to the UAE for work purposes. That means you can guarantee plenty of spectators at the stadium

2) BD's population is almost 180 million, that means every match in the UAE will be watched by a good number of spectators which means good TV ratings and high degree of interest from spectators

3) BD market is going strong and infact Bangladeshi sponsors reign supreme overseas as well! Our latest tour to Lanka saw half the sponsorship from Bangladesh companies. The tri series in Ireland had 80% sponsors from BD. You can guarantee some big bucks from Bangladesh if the series is held involving Bangladesh

4) The only plausible arguement in favor is that Lanka have history but we all know that off late Bangladesh are neck and neck with Sri Lanka. Infact, our recent performance especially in LOIs has been better than that of Lanka and no, not by a small margin.

Its ridiculous to think that hosting Bangladesh in 2017 in the UAE will not be profitable. It will generate much more revenue than you think. PCB should host BD in the UAE if they wish to play us. Right now PCB already in bad terms with 3 boards: BCCI, ACB and BCB. Now that is 3 cricket crazy nation in PCB's black list. Playing SL, WI, NZ, Zim doesn't guarantee much revenue. Infact, I am sure even hosting England, SA, Australia doesn't generate excessive revenue.

You guys are playing all your home series with all the countries in UAE yet having problem with BD playing there although after Pak and Ind Bdeshis are more in UAE. I don't see what PCB will achieve making enemies. I believe it benefits BCB to maintain good relations with PCB and vice versa.

It would be ridiculous to not take advantage of Bangladesh right now. Bangladeshis will flock to the stadium anywhere, millions of tv viewers, interested sponsors, a BPL that is home to Pakistan cricketers and an ever improving side that can compete well with Pakistan.
