Salaam, guys.

So the NPL just started.

It's very small compared to all the other T20 leagues of course, but I believe it's a great addition to our small Norwegian cricket family.

Misbah ul Haq, Kamran Akmal and Kamran Akmal are playing in this tournament.

Right now Michael Leask from Scotland is bowling to Umar Amin.

I always wonder how these random leagues in random non-cricketing countries like Uganda or Norway survive from a financial aspect.

They don't have any TV rights to speak of and clearly the attendances are low with tiny stadiums.

Ma sha Allah. I even heard Amad Butt is playing. Due to football WC, work and family haven’t had any time to get to Ekeberg, going there in the afternoon, but not for cricket but to play some football with friends :)

BTW, there is live streame on YouTube. I got a message yesterday but dont know about the quality of it.

Please dont post any links etc on this thread.

Might have thought we'd see Mohammad Asif there too as he's played in Norway before and should be playing all the cricket he can if he truly wants to force himself back into national selection.

his career is near where Titanic lies now a days.

These small leagues are generally safe bet for bookies. Do they fall under ICC ACU ?
