Never a blessing in disguise for pak. If happened as per OP hafeez, Azhar and Malik wouldn’t be playing now. Hafeez dropped after English summer and made return to Aus tour. Azhar sacked as captain and dropped made a return to CT squad. If axed they will return next series.

Nothing will change!!!!! You need a brave and unbias selector who will not be under pressure by so-called formers or media. As someone said earlier replacement will be even worse. I would rather stick with this squad than bring back Akmals, Shafiq, Wahab, Shehzad, M Sami, Gul or even Farhat. We have to wait until Hafeez, Azhar or Malik announce retirement.Malik will retire after 2019. Both Azhar and Hafeez will retire in 2023 if God willing.
Afther this series we have PSL and Zimbabwe series abd people will forget the loss and they will select same squad in the name of stability and experience. One example Shehzad supposed to be dropped for T20 series against WI due to his poor form but great Inzi select him again for NZ T20.

Even if Hafeez and Azhar get dropped they will get replaced with Kamran and Shehzad. Then cycle in an appearance of Asad Shafiq and Umar Akmal. Then back to Hafeez and azhar.

Hafeez and Malik are capable of playing modern ODI cricket but our entire batting lineup is a mess. I'd replace Azhar as soon as possible with someone capable of playing at a 85-90+ SR, so maybe Sahibzada Farhan should be given a go. The only batsmen capable of controlling the tempo in the middle are Malik, Sarfraz and Haris so I'd play Haris at 4 and Sarfraz at 5 (he cannot hit big to save his life) and Malik has been playing decently when it comes to finishing. I don't see a place for Hafeez anytime soon given that his bowling is banned, he sucks all the momentum in the lineup.

Lower order of Fahim, Hasan and Amir is brutally strong given they can give lusty blows and add at least 40+ runs at a quick SR.

What should I do..If not laugh

I am an Indian, but I want Pak cricket to be competitive..

They can easily be top 4 teams in LOIS atleast.

Losing to NZ in NZ should not be taken seriously. Many teams got smashed in NZ. Even the ATG Australian side.
