In 1987 at Headingley, Imran Khan became the first Pakistani to take 300 wickets in Tests and 8th player to have achieved this feat.

The 300th wicket was that of English wicketkeeper Jack Richards who tried to work the ball on the onside only to find Ijaz Ahmed who took a brilliant catch at short leg.

This was Imran's fifth wicket of the innings and he would finish the English innings off with figures of 7 for 40, for a total 10 wickets in the Test Match.

The next Pakistan 300+ Test wicket taker - who will he be?

Yasir Shah has the best possible chance, but he is on his last legs. Besides him, no one else worth mentioning at the moment; perhaps there is potential with Shaheen, but taking 300 is no mean feat and a lot comes into play with regards to fitness. It would be a big deal if a Pak fast bowler can get to 200!
