Well this innings and the innings from Azhar does border on selfishness.
But think about it, these players rarely get to play test matches. Hardly 7-8 test matches a year, whereas other teams play at least twice the amount Pakistan plays. The reason is no home cricket, and no tours for Pakistan away from home except Srilanka ofcourse.
They're trying to achieve good scores with whatever means they have necessary.
The 90s team had flat tracks especially tailor made to boost averages of the likes of Inzamam Saeed Anwar and others in our batting lineup. We made flat tracks and made runs on them by the amount of tons.
Why not let these guys have fun?? What's the harm?? They rarely get a chance to score runs these days because of the limited cricket they play??
No one will ask you in what scenario you scored a century against Australia. A century is a century when people look at stats and 2 are better than one.
