One bouncer per over rule

Just watched Russell bowling four bouncers in an over and then three in next over.

Is the rule still intact or the umpire sleeping ?

There's a difference between short pitched bowling and bouncers..

Bouncers are above shoulder level deliveries with batsman standing.

Can you show photos of those deliveries? I started watching midway and it seems they are bowling legitimately short pitched stuff and not all balls are bouncers.

Sarfarqz is captain and is at crease, hafeez is senior most player at crease. They should let the umpires know to start calling bouncers/wides. A new player might not be confident enough but these two should take charge and put a word in umpires ears

Need to take sir Alex Ferguson coaching course on how to influence decisions in your favour. As the two most experienced players if they meekly submit to decisions it's extremely poor and subversive behaviour.

If you can't be objective then best shut up. Some of them were borderline so fair enough, but there have been at least 4 which should have been called.

below shoulder? Just because they aren't flying over the head doesn't mean they are not bouncers.
Anyway, as long as the umpires are consistent thats the most important thing.

In hindsight I think if the umpires had realised the Pakistan batsmen were this bad they would have probably been less lenient on the Windies bowlers.

There is no spite at all. People are whinging like its some conspiracy and i offered my opinion the matter. I have no grudge against team Pakistan just the whinging about the short ball.

Umpiring aside, the Windies did their homework, they knew Pakistan batsmen were crap against short bowling, it made sense to bowl as many as possible and hope for weak shots.

In reality he did. The only way to stop short bowling is to hit boundaries from them. You can be sure Windies batsmen will go after our bowlers if they pitch short.

It was out "dashing" batsman Harris Sohail who was making those short pitch deliveries bouncers by ducking them very low. He could have easily taken singles or would have pulled or cut them for more runs.
