As I have ranted in other threads, Pakistan's next limited overs intl games are vs a depleted WI side that almost lost to Scotland today, followed by a tour to Zimbwae. After this we have the Asia Cup and then a tour to the UAE by Australia, which is always tough.

This is a great run of games to introduce a youngster, getting progressively tougher. I agree with the consensus of may others that Farhan has plenty of issues with his batting, but he merits his chance.

I would much rather give him such a run of games rather than a player who is a certified failure at the top level like Kamran.

This is where the PCB need to use their head ( which means they won't). What does Pakistan gain from playing Kamran against WI and Zimb?

That's not to say we should take them lightly, but Pakistan should win those games regardless of who is the second opener.

Too often in recent years, I have seen "seniors" conveniently recalled vs Minnows

I pledged the same request when Pak was visiting WI but Inzi did not listen and selected Kami who failed as expected  And then Sarfraz did not listen to my suggestion of playing Fakhar; Sarfraz played Kami over him and then Ahmed Shehzad over him and only it was a miracle that Ahmed Shehzad failed miserably and Fakhar debut and the rest is history. Dont think Inzi & Sarfraz have learned their lesson yet

I would rest Amir, Hassan and even Babar and Fakhar

Have a lot of cricket coming up, so should rest some of our regulars, especially cos of their busy workloads over the last year

Is the Zimbabwe tour even confirmed yet?

Last I checked, they were waiting for approval from the ICC for a loan.

Same team will played. TTFS will have chances to boost their stats and confidence for big games

Hafeez should be dropped permanently now. Had a rubbish PSL. Malik will hang on, but only just. Think the tour to South Africa will finish him off aswell.
