With flat tracks and below average fast bowlers, it does not make sense to go with all out fast bowling options. I think batsmen will find it harder to score against the spinners than pacers. India-England series was also dominated by spinners from both teams.
I would go with 3 pacers, one container and two wicket takers. So, it will be Aamir, Shaheen, and Hassan. Then, you need two solid spin options. Imad and Shadab are the only spin options in the squad so they have to play.
Sarfraz will keep the wickets so that leaves space for 5 batsmen. Imam, Fakhar, and Babar are solid top 3 so there are only two batting spots available which must go to Haris and Asif. Haris is a better batsman/bowler than Hafeez and Asif brings something different to the team.
As most of the batsmen have been doing fine, you don’t need much batting depth and you can always take a risk by playing a hitter like Asif than a better all-round batsman like Hafeez or Malik. Most of the runs have to come from the top 5.
If any of the bowlers go for runs, Haris and Fakhar should chip in few overs of part time spin. If Imad or Shadab fail to bowl decently then replace them with Hafeez or Malik in subsequent matches.
