Given that Shaheen Shah Afridi and Hassan are definite picks for the T20 World Cup.

But who would be your other picks? - Hasnain, Dahani, Haris Rauf, Imran Khan, Wahab Riaz, Arshad Iqbal or perhaps somebody else?

If it were up to me, it would be: Shaheen, Hasan, Wahab, Wasim Jr. and Dahani.

But I could live with Haris Rauf being in there too.

Hasnain smashed around again today.

Economy rate of 10 now at the National T20 Cup 2021.

We need someone like Faulkner in the team who isn't quick but has variations and is able to use the slowness of the pitch. Our pacers are similar in speed and offer very little in terms of control and the moment they face quality batters, they fall apart. Shaheen, Dahani, Rauf, Hassan, Wahab, Hasnain, Naseem, and Wasim Jr. bowl in a similar manner. They have speed but in most cases, it just comes on to the bat better and they aren't fast enough to scare top-quality players.

Rumman isn't fit enough to be in the team yet, and Sohail Tanvir is on his last legs and that's the real issue that we have.

Someone tell me what happened to Junaid Khan? He had Kohli's number at one time. I don't want Rauf in the team at all.

If Rauf can get a few brain cells and learn to bowl fast and off stump, he could trouble all batsman. But as we know the guy is dumb as a rock and is wasting his pace and his seam. Waseem is inconsistent but offers something and Dahani is aggressive, a type we lack. I think his problem is that he over does it with short ball.

Waqas Maqsood is your man.

Dahani is a must. I like the look of Arshad Iqbal too but perhaps it is too early for him.

First choice 3 - Shaheen, Hassan, Dahani
Backups - Hasnain, Wahab, Haris

Dahani must be in with a chance and Wasim Jr looks good. Then possibly Rauf but I think he still needs to improve a lot. Still better than an out of form Hasnain and Wahab who isn't good enough for international level anymore.

Hasnain out, dahani in.

Line up, Shaheen, Hasan, Dahani, Mohd Wasim, Rauf

Shaheen, Dhahani, Wasim, Wahab Riaz and Hassan

Reserves: Hasnain, Arshad Iqbal

Rauf : definitely out

Fakhar
Sharjeel
Babaar
Rizwan
Hafeez
Malik
Imad
Hassan Ali
Wahab Riaz
Specialist spinner
Shaheen

This is the Team I would play .

Does he get in the team ahead of shaheen Hassan, dahani, wasim Jnr,Rauf proberly not

The type of Bowler GoUgandaCranes was referring to. The names you mentioned are all superior speed merchants to Waqas, but Waqas is the only decent bowler in Pakistan who could try to be our Faulkner in terms of variations and skill.

However, I don’t understand why he isn’t featuring in this tournament, but is still one of the main bowlers for Karachi Kings

This will be a spin-dominant tournament. We'll likely play Imad, Shadab, Nawaz and Hafeez. So with pacers, we would want allrounders who can add depth to our batting line-up. That means it should be one of Wasim Jr, Wahab or Faheem. Dahani/Hasnain/Rauf aren't needed in a 7-bowler line-up. I would go with Wasim or Wahab.

Haris Rauf with 3 wickets today.

Seems to be popular with the selectors.

Faheem Ashraf back in with a shout perhaps.

3 for 14 today from 4 excellent overs.

Shaheen & Hasan Ali are certain.

I would pick Wasim jnr and Dahani as the other options.

But my fifth choice for me could be a AR rather than someone like Haris Rauf, Mohammad Hasnain or someone just pace due to the tournament taking place in UAE.

I would like to add Amad Butt, due to his variations in his bowling and being a late order hitter.

That's true bit I stil think Hassan has gone variations like we seen against West Indies.

Shaheen Hassan and Wasim Jnr as the last two names offer alot more in the batting department but I also wouldn't mind wahab

He seems to be competing with Mohammad Wasim jr as Wasim more than handy with the bat.

At the moment Wasim seems to be in favour and in decent form - averaging 45 with the bat and decent economy rate of 7.80 in the National T20 Cup.
