In T20s atleast one all rounder is needed at no 6 or 7 and ideally two if a team can afford to have something at no 8 too. So what should be the Pak team’s combo leading upto and for the world T20?

In spin bowling all rounders have following in the radar:

Imad Wasim
Shadab Khan
Mohammad Nawaz

Imad at 7 and Shadab at 8 has been the usual selection of all rounders.

While in pace bowling all rounders we have:

Faheem Ashraf
Amad Butt
Aamir Yamin

People have been criticizing all of these and maybe rightly so in some cases but still we will be needing atleast one in the playing XI and probably total of two or 3 in the squad.

So which ones of these are better and should be the obvious choice for selections? Whole team combination can differ if the all rounders are spin bowling all rounders or pace bowling all rounders.

In 20 20 you need 5 solid bowling options. 120 balls to play with , 5 specialist batsmen are more than enough. By the time bowlers come it will be for 20 odd balls , any bowler can slog.

If you weaken your bowling , by playing all rounders , it will be a big mistake. Play the bowlers on bowling merit.

The problem is the tournament is in Australia, but Pakistan's pace-bowling all-rounders are hardly in great form.
