Easy run-chase or is their twist?

Any other bowling attack, I would consider this as an after thought, but Afghanistan has always made mediocre totals look very good against us.

Have to be focused and finish this game off with perfection, otherwise we might find ourselves with another close game.

Should be an easy chase

Afghanistan need to bowl out Rashid and Mujeeb straight away to somehow make a game of this

People talk about the toss but credit should be given to our bowlers.

They have been a level above the rest.

Almost defended a below-par 147 against India, toyed with the Hong Kong batters, restricted India to 180 after they were on course to reach 220, and now this performance where they have kept the big hitting Afghans to a modest 130.

Remarkable from a relatively inexperienced and young bowling attack, whose main fast bowler is unavailable.

Mujeeb is the big threat, gotta play him watchfully

Only real threat will be Rashid Khan. Pakistani batsmen do not play leggies well from my observation. Good thing is that they can afford to see him off without losing wickets to him.

I agree.

You have to analyze the respective bowling efforts before blindly believing there is no hope against toss.

I actually back us to defend targets here.

Won't be difficult for this Pakistan side chasing 130 . Top2 T20,s world ranked batsmen to open . Asif Ali at 7 can scare any bowling side.

Some people were crying that we should have batted first as Afghanis would have scored 200 plus

Pakistan have always played Afghanistan slow despite low totals but I hope they change that today. No need to take it to the last couple of overs to finish this. Should aim to complete this by 15-16th instead of making it risky.

Rizwan is the key. If he score 50+ we will win. Babar and Fakhar are the weak link. Both can't play spin.

In all the matches, there has been more movement in second innings. That's why I don't really buy the bat 1st doom theories and feel we will do well bowling 2nd.

Oh dear ..i think we need to do tuk tuk guys otherwise we will make a hash

He deserves this fully

Should have done the right thing and moved either himself or Rizwan to 3 and bring Fakhar back as an opener

Give me Hong Kong's Babar Hayat over Babar Azam any day of the week in T20Is and no I'm not joking.

See bowling 2nd is a thrill of it's own. It always moves more. You just need to cash in on it.

How do you play cross bat when you know the guy bowls inswinging full delivery first up. I knew exactly the ball he was gonna bowl, exactly what Shaheen does early on. This Fazal guy is very good, seen him do this a few times in this tournament. Well done.

Babar saying, whatever Kohli can do, I can do better.

Babar is a typical soft player. Fail most of the time in pressure games.

Afghans would make it difficult for Pakistan here , they need to keep composure here

Babar has been in very poor form in this tournament. We need Rizwan and Fakhar to perform today.

This isn't a pressure game for heaven's sake. Babar has performed tremendously and has carried your team alone on his shoulders for 5 years

haris sohail too is fit and playing t20 cup , hope he scores some and finds his way back. Not in t20 format of course.

This too shall pass

The dumbest thing anyone could say to a current player

Lol Sanjay Manjrekar can't hide his bias for who he's rooting for in this game. So unprofessional.

Moreover, just look at Babar's stats in the 2019 WC (his first one) and last year's WT20I, botj bigger tournaments than the Asia Cup.

But, according to some, he is a soft player not made for the big games.

Fazalhaq bowling at 147KPH. Surely he isn't that quick.
