3 wickets down... again in the PP. An absolutely shambolic batting group.

It's not even like they're putting up PP scores out of the ordinary while losing wickets constantly. They literally can't bat a single PP without being not just one wicket, but multiple wickets down. A terrible group of batters who simply lack the ability to stand at the crease consistently.

We'll win this. But this match will tell us nothing. I dont know why fakhar is at 3. I have a feeling he will perform here, but against uae this will tell us nothing of his ability at 3. Haris being sent at 5 today which he never will be done in the future given Hasan will usually come in there. We should have a predictable batting order for now as we haven't worked out where our batsmen should actually bat middle order yet. I feel bad for Haris, guy is being thrown anywhere in the order. Even if he performs here, hes not going to be no.5 in the future.

Haris is our young batsman for the future, and also generally one of our most performing batsmen in psl at no.3. I dont know what the harm was giving him 3. And the same with Fakhar we know he's bad at 3, why not give him the chance mid or lower order again.

In T20, part-timers often get wickets. No surprise here.

I remember Root got Gayle out in 1st over of 2016 WC final. It can happen.
But we are repeating these performance game after game i can understand now and then you lose wickets in pursuit of quick runs.

Lol have you seen their young batters

They will absolutely demolish all the team in the cup

Yes. I have seen them. They are IPL superstars and home track bullies.

They are yet to face strong opponents in big events. This Asia Cup is their first proper assignment. :inti

They do not have Rohit and Kohli anymore.

Youngsters they have are untested in big tournaments.

I have a feeling India may not go to final. :inti
Also, their players play in the ipl in front of thousands of fans.

Playing against minnows like pak, Afghanistan, Srilanka doesn't make it a big tournament

I guess problem is with batting order and playing too many allrounders.
Among M.nawaz and Fahim only one should play while both muqim and Abrar should play
My XI would be
Saim
Fakhar
M.Haris
Hassan Nawaz
Salman
Talat
Faheem
Abrar
Muqim
Shaheen
Mirza

No. International cricket is more challenging.

Also, I think IPL has a lot of fixing going on. There was an Al-Jazeera documentary regarding this. I question the credibility of IPL.

BD toured India for a T20 series last year and Abhishek Sharma was a walking wicket (scored 16, 15, and 4).

Haider Ali is actually a good bowler. I see he's from Pakistan maybe we could use him lol.

You guys always do this before big matches against India. Convince yourself that they will struggle and pak will have a chance.

It will be one of the most one sided matches you will ever seen

This is where the coaching fails- why can't they work with Haris to train him to find a method in playing spin. You can't be this vulnerable each time.

All of the UAE players seem to be from Pakistan except a couple of them. Would have been nice to hear if they were conversing in Arabic instead of Hindi/Urdu.
At the moment UAE team looks more like a Pak-B team.

Mashallah swashbuckling 14 off 17 balls from the legendary 'modern day' wk/bat.

Its heartbreaking to see UAE players giving wild send offs to our players.

If this continues for long I might have to stop watching to relieve some stress.

What’s the point? You won’t be facing spinners of Rashid and Noor quality

Might as well let the batters have a free run today and get their confidence up
They are scoring nice free runs . Pakistan 74/4
Saim -11
Farhan -16
Agha- 7
Haris- 14(17)*

:klopp :kp

Not many speak Arabic in UAE, its either English Urdu, Hindi, Punjabi, Dari or Pushto..hardly hear Arabic

O Balochi too from Pakistani and Irani people.

Haris has a very poor batting technique. I think Shaheen, Haris Rauf, and Naseem have better batting techniques than Haris.

Here are his stats. He doesn't average 30 in any format.

UAE's Mohammad Waseem is a great batter. Great hitter.

He is a Pakistani. Pakistan should've tried to get him instead of Usman Khan. LOL.
Havent seen him much yet. Though why not take both :D.

But you can see here, Haider Ali, the batsmen are actually afraid batting against him. I had no idea UAE had a bowler like that. Look he got another one. Insane.

The biggest red flag is an average of 25 in First Class Cricket (and that includes one not-out). It suggests he doesn't have much experience of building an innings.

Fakhar is still there Pakistan should look to score 170+ from here.

Fakhar Plus two allrounder can do the job for Pakistan.

:kp

Only Fakhar is one player who has proved himself at this level . Rest all have nothing to claim neither in domestic nor international
