Good win against a senior Afghan team. Whats their average squad age, 27?
And Mamoon says Pakistan cricket is finished lol
Mamoon was missing throughout this run chase
Bro at least they provide some good laughs. Let them play the devil. Specially the legendary "I know it All" comedian Mamoon.![]()

He will be back in full swing when Pakistan will be served a humiliation against his beloved India
Or if Pak wins (hopefully), he will be in hiding in depression land for a few days more
I am not interested in this tournament. U-19 cricket outcomes are often misleading because you cannot trust the ages of most of these players.
While our fans are mocking Afghans for playing their U-25 players, some of our players look like they could have played in the 2014 U-19 World Cup as well.
It wasn’t long ago when PCB turned back Father Time for Naseem Shah and paraded him as a 16 year old in 2019, after calling him a 16 year old in 2016.
Very few boards have credibility when it comes to selecting players for U-19 World Cups, but Pakistan isn’t one of them.
Furthermore, no one will have a clue about the whereabouts of most of these players in a few years time. This is not true for Pakistan only but also for other sides. That is how U-19 cricket works, so it is preferable to exercise caution at this stage and not get over-excited.
Nevertheless, as far as the semifinal is concerned, if both teams bring their A game, or if India brings their A game, they should win.
The mentality of Indian players, their confidence, their attitude, their skill levels etc. are at a different level. Hence, we have to hope that they have an off-day while we are at our best.
It is not the fault of our players. It is simply a consequence of the fact that Indian cricket is light-years ahead of Pakistan cricket.
Anyway, I am glad I walked into this thread because I would have missed the fact that my presence frustrate certain posters to the extent that they end up gossiping behind my back like aunties.

Babar Azam, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Kane Williamson, Ross Taylor, and many others would respectfully disagree with you. Overage or not, performances here do matter and indicate ability of these players moving forward. Winning the tournament is inconsequential. Showing talent, promise, character and the ability to play under pressure, however, are not. They don’t tell the entire story at this level but they do speak volumes.
Seriously, why are you even here? You seem to have not one ounce of enthusiasm for cricket or for its future. That’s fair. Stop wasting your energy spouting negativity in every other post you write. You’d be better suited arguing with Tanveer Ahmad on GSports with Waheed Khan. At least you’ll get some money for your **
Get ready for, “Your pathetic comment does not warrant a response from me and nor does it deserve my attention, which makes you valid on this forum. Yet I will still oblige by responding”.

Mamoon nailed it.
Some posters are reacting like CT17 won or they win some sort of world championship.

Footwork was assured. Only other batsman I have seen in this WC with such confidence is that leftie from Bangladesh. Name escapes me, but he looked very good too.On a spinning track against 2 spinners who have been wreaking havoc - Hurraira was masterful. He played the spinners with unbelievable maturity. Completely negated them. Was not troubled by a single delivery. He clearly read the ball from the hands - an art even seasoned pros struggle with.

a one-sided match.
People were making it seem like the Afghan spinners were gonna take 5 wickets each lol
To be completely fair, the Afghan spinners were very very difficult to read. But two players do not and cannot make up a team of 11
