Though I usually avoid group games in T20 world cups, I'm reluctantly drawn into following this game given all the buildup over the last few days and the history of the last world cup.

Hope it's exciting and not a one-sided thrashing by Pakistan. USA getting to bowl first is promising. Dew factor is totally unknown at SSC and Pakistan is packed with spinners who may struggle to grip the ball if it gets too dewy.
When has dew ever been a significant factor in SL? I really can't remember that being the case.

This is a poor decision by Monank. Their best chance was to score 160 and hope to defend.

Think it's going to be a thrashing

They are good in urdu/Punjabi. Very funny actually and make a good pair.

But yeah in English it's fingers in the ears stuff.
Urdu/punjabi/Hindi commentary or
most regional commentary is not very professional. Many times we laugh at them, not with them.

Maybe in a he radio era from what I hear plenty of great commentators who had grasp on the language.

Also to be fair these are cricketers. Most are jocks who drop out in middle school. You can’t expect them to be articulate like a journalist or professional broadcaster.

While some cricketers are really good, some get hired for their name and popularity case in point the Sehwag, Harbhajan. 2W’s of the world.

What actual blunder will be most likely is that , those two players i mean Babar and Usman will score some runs and team management justify their selection in later more important matches based on this performance vs minnow. We will most likely win today despite them but will surely lose due to them vs better teams. But on flip side if they can't even score again vs a minnow team they should and must be benched in next game vs india. But maybe our thick tank will still keep them in playing XI.

God forbid they perform and continue to be foisted on us. They are being foisted on without performing, imagine if they do their stat pudding.

Shaheen Afridi is the seventh player from Pakistan to feature in 100 T20 Internationals – the most from a single country to feature in as many. At 25y 310d, Shaheen is the second youngest at the time of 100th T20I appearance, only older than Shadab Khan who was 25y 239d when he played his 100th.
